BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Prosecutors in the 19th Judicial District Attorney’s Office have wrapped up their review of the criminal case of Damien Clark and formally charged him with molestation of a juvenile and an indecent behavior with a juvenile charge. According to court records, an arraignment has been set before District Judge Eboni Johnson on April 29.

Clark was arrested on those charges and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison in September. A parent accused Clark of inappropriately texting a 15-year-old about inappropriate sexual acts the two had engaged in together. According to arrest records, at least one sexual encounter between Clark and the teen happened on the campus of Woodlawn High School where Clark was a contracted assistant football coach and substitute teacher.

Clark was fired from the school system and barred from returning to campus after the allegations came to light. According to court records, Clark denied the allegations when confronted by law enforcement. It is unclear if Clark has hired a defense attorney.
