LSU Gymnastics on the road to the championship
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU gymnastics, the 2024 SEC Champions, is a top seed in the Fayetteville Regional to open NCAA postseason competition next week..
The Tigers have made it to the NCAA tournament 11 of the past 12 seasons, with 5 Super Six appearances and 2 Four on the Floor appearances but have yet to bring home the national title.
The closest the Tigers have been to winning the title was 2019 when they finished runner-up to Oklahoma.
The Tigers are currently 19-3, ranked 2nd in the country, and are coming off winning the SEC Championship in New Orleans.
The Fayetteville Regional is Thursday, April 4.
The top two teams advance to Fort Worth for the NCAA Semifinals and a chance for the Tigers to take their first national championship in program history.
