GREENVILLE, S.C. (WAFB) - After a bench-clearing fight broke out during LSU’s matchup against South Carolina, multiple players from each team were ejected.
The game will finish out 5-on-5 with no substitutions. Benched players from each team entered the court during the fight.
Every player involved in the altercation, which doesn’t appear to include any LSU players at this time, will not get to play in the first round tournament game, officials say.
The Tigers fell to the Gamecocks 79-72.
This is a developing story. We’ll update you with more details as they become available.
