Get free medical, dental, and vision services at Baton Rouge health clinic this weekend
BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The Baton Rouge Love Heals Free Clinic will offer free health checks to anyone who may be in need this weekend.
On Saturday, Feb. 17 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., residents can receive free medical, dental, and vision services.
It’s happening at Louisiana Leadership Institute located at 5763 Hooper Road.
Services provided include:
- free eye exams and prescription eyeglasses
- free dental cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- free medical physical exams, treatment of chronic illnesses
- free prescripion medication
No insurance is required, no ID is required and services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
Officials say you do not need to make an appointment or pre-register.
If you need a ride to the clinic, free public transportation will be provided by CATSBR. Call the terminal at 225-389-8282 for pickup locations.
Organizers say participants can connect with various resources in the Baton Rouge community for long-term access to essential needs for their overall health.
