“Space Invaders,” the classic eighties Midway arcade game, is heading to the big screen, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Someday, at least. Big-name producers, who have teamed up to option the rights and develop the project, are currently hunting for a writer. Hopefully they’ll find a visionary, as it’ll take some creativity to adapt the game’s narrative — baby aliens shoot lasers into the sky — into a feature-length film. Actually, what are we saying?
