In 1952, Gaby Aghion, founder of the fashion house Chloé declared: "To all women, I always say, you must dare". Echoing this quote, on 11 October 2019, Chloé announced a three-year partnership with UNICEF. The aim: to support UNICEF programmes that help 6.5 million young women to empower themselves in various fields such as learning, employability and active citizenship.

Three pieces that support millions of women worldwide

On the occasion of the International Women's Day on March 8, 2020, Chloé unveiled its first capsule collection with UNICEF. Its name? #GirlsForward, or meaning "putting women first." With the support of influential personalities such as Lucy Boynton and Katie Holmes, the capsule consists of a t-shirt, necklace and bracelet. It should be noted that the t-shirt in question has already been worn by many women on Instagram...and that 100% of the profits from the pieces in the collection will be donated directly to UNICEF. An important project and more than ever in the spirit of the times, which is in the feminist vein instilled by Natacha Ramsay-Levi, Chloé's artistic director.
