Dior Brings a Taste of the Riviera to Beverly Hills
While summer may have officially kicked off last week, “May Gray” followed by “June Gloom” has left Los Angeles feeling decidedly chilly. Luckily, escape can now be found at the Dioriviera pop-up at The Beverly Hills Hotel.
For the second year in a row, the Dior has taken over the legendary pool at Pink Palace in celebration of the new Dioriviera capsule collection, outfitting the cabanas, sun loungers, and umbrellas in a riot of its iconic toile de Jouy in a sunny coral hue.
To celebrate the official opening of the pop-up, friend of the house Derek Blasberg hosted a poolside cocktail party on Thursday night. Guests, including Jennifer Meyer Gia Coppola, Lisa and Laura Love, and Kelly Sawyer, enjoyed Champagne and canapés among life-size, seashell-covered statues of lions, giraffes, monkeys, and tigers while sharing their summer plans.
The activation, which runs through September 2, includes both a pop-up boutique and a spa takeover. The boutique, designed to feel like a beachside resort home, showcases pieces from the sun-soaked Dioriviera 2024 collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, including summer essentials such as sun hats, sarongs, slides and a special Beverly Hills toile de Jouy book tote bag. Dior Maison items are also available. including tableware sets, linens, and deck chairs.
Meanwhile, the Dior Spa at the Beverly Hills Hotel (located just steps from the hotel’s citrus garden and pool) is dressed in the same coral toile de Jouy Soleil print. A selection of Dior’s skincare and fragrance collections are available for purchase within the spa’s boutique, while seven signature treatments for the face and body have been specially designed to help the skin and senses blossom at the height of summer.
So, for Angelenos at least, the next best thing to frolicking on the beach in Antibes, Eze, or Saint Tropez this summer? A Riviera-inspired staycation (without the trouble of TSA and jet lag) courtesy of Dior.
