Kendall Jenner tends to stay mum on who she is dating—one of the few areas of mystery in the supermodel’s exceedingly public personal life. But when she does drop a few hints, it often also takes the form of a fashion statement. Last summer, when Jenner was rumored to be seeing rapper A$AP Rocky, for instance, the two took to twinning fanny packs on an afternoon out shopping, and all but confirmed their relationship status (not to mention the return of the throwback accessory trend). Now that Jenner is linked to L.A. Clippers basketball player Blake Griffin, frequently turning up at his games to cheer him on, she’s wearing her heart on her sleeve quite literally, lovingly borrowing his clothes.
Last night, when the pair swung by Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, Jenner sported Griffin’s Ermenegildo Zegna blazer, which eagle-eyed fans swiftly pointed out was inscribed with his name inside. The boxy suiting wasn’t a stretch for Jenner, who has been recently experimenting with the oversize trend. She tucked a clingy Tom Ford turtleneck into wide-leg Prince of Wales check trousers also by the brand, then pulled on Ford’s slouchy over-the-knee boots to move the working separates into date night territory. Here’s hoping Jenner finds an equally chic way to make over Griffin’s jersey.
