Less than two weeks after a horrific terrorist attack killed 22 people at Ariana Grande’s show in Manchester, England, the singer returned to the city with an epic and triumphant benefit concert to raise funds for the victims.

For her One Love Manchester show, Grande was joined by Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, Pharrell, and Liam Gallagher, among others at the Manchester arena. Introduced by her manager Scooter Braun as “one of the bravest people I know,” Grande took the stage and performed her songs “Be Alright” and “Break Free,” singing the lyrics “I’m stronger than I’ve been before” with particular glee. “Before we go any further, I wanna thank y’all from the bottom of my heart for being here today,” she later said to the audience. “I think that the kind of love and unity you’re displaying is the kind of medicine the world really needs.”

Throughout the concert, there were many emotional moments that moved the crowds to tears. At one point, the stadium dedicated a minute of silence to the victims, and later, Grande shared the story of when she met the mother of her 15-year-old fan Olivia Campbell, who passed away at her show on May 22. “As soon as I met her, I started crying, and gave her a big hug. And she said that I should stop crying because Olivia wouldn’t have wanted me to cry,” she said. “She told me that Olivia would have wanted to hear the hits.”

If that anecdote didn’t have you reaching for some Kleenex, perhaps this clip of a group of security guards dancing along with young concertgoers will do it for you.
