Tonight’s crowd at the Super Bowl LVIII match in Las Vegas, where the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the San Francisco 49ers, was majorly star-studded: Taylor Swift, Ice Spice, Lana Del Rey, Kim Kardashian, and Lady Gaga were just a few of the stars spotted taking in the game from the audience. (Or, in Swift’s case, a private box.) Yay sports! But few stars did game-day style quite like Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The duo, who are set to costar in Wicked together later this year, donned custom football jerseys in total character—meaning, Erivo sported one in Elphaba green, and Grande one in Glinda pink. We love celebrities who do method dressing.

The pair’s sequined jerseys, it turns out, were both designed by Louis Vuitton, and the shimmering finishes made their sporty looks feel fun and festive. Not to mention, the nod to their Wicked characters was total marketing genius—the perfect way to build hype around the forthcoming movie-musical.

It’s not the first time the stars have nodded to their characters’s signature colors this month, either. Just last week, Grande posted an Instagram photo wearing a shredded pink Balenciaga gown that was very Glinda the Good Witch. But her and Erivo’s color-coordinated jerseys is truly next level—mainly because it was totally unexpected for a Super Bowl event, but perfectly in sync nonetheless. Now, it has us totally excited for the film’s official press tour and ensuing red carpets once it kicks off closer to November.
