Voluminous roots, bounteous length and enviable shine… you’d be forgiven for thinking we’re describing Elizabeth Hurley’s long, tousled locks for the V&A summer party this week, but the same also applies to her son, Damian.
Posing up a storm on the red carpet, the mother-son duo showcased matching bombshell blow dries. For Elizabeth, chest-length waves that enhanced her signature smoky eye, and for Damian a shorter, bouncy bob, that was marked by sweeping layers. Add to that their flawless skin and chiselled jawlines, and the family’s excellent genetics were wholly apparent.
The pair are famously close, so much so that Damian’s recent directorial debut, Strictly Confidential, saw him direct his mum in a sex scene. After writing the script, he decided he needed her on board in the planning phase, while wondering how to make the film sexier. “It made total sense to beg – beg – my mighty mother to come on board,” he previously told Vogue.
