With the Euros in full swing and the Paris Olympics on the horizon, summer 2024 is set to be the summer of sport, providing the perfect excuse to embrace the athletic mood that has permeated the runways in recent seasons.
The spring/summer 2024 collections were brimming with sportif outfit ideas. Preppy polos and ruffled miniskirts arrived at Miu Miu; tracksuit bottoms and halternecks served evening wear inspiration at Ahluwalia; and at Dries Van Noten rugby tops were worn nonchalantly with embellished skirts. Jonathan Anderson, meanwhile, introduced a new spliced sweatpant silhouette this season, which reflected the pared-back mood of the whole collection.
