Or, in Taylor Swift’s case, a private box.
But few stars did game-day style quite like Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The duo, who are set to co-star in Wicked later this year, donned custom football jerseys in total character – meaning Erivo sported one in an Elphaba-green, and Grande one in a Glinda-pink. Yay, sports! The pair’s sequined jerseys were both designed by Louis Vuitton and their shimmering finishes felt fun, festive even. Not to mention, total marketing genius – the perfect way to build hype around the forthcoming movie-musical.
It’s not the first time the stars have nodded to their characters’s signature colours this month. Just last week, Grande posted an Instagram photo wearing a shredded pink Balenciaga gown that was very Glinda the Good Witch. But Grande and Erivo’s colour-coordinated jerseys took it to the next level, precipitating all the method dressing that will no doubt take place once the film’s press tour kicks off closer to November.
