Rideshare Program

The UTSU Rideshare Program is an initiative to support students in safe travel from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. daily. From March 1st to April 30th, our program is a preventative measure to reduce the risk of violence for students traveling the GTA late at night.

     Disclaimer!
  • A total of 156 rides will be provided per week
  • Each week will begin on Friday due to anticipated demand over the weekends
  • We will turn the program off if we reach the maximum amount of rides before the end of the week to ensure the program can be accessed for the full 2 months
  • An error message will display itself if the program is turned off; we do not provide reimbursements

How to Access Your Credit

  1. Call your ride to and from a specific location.
  2. Under the payment method tab, switch from your personal dashboard to our business dashboard.
  3. Confirm you want to bill The UTSU up to $4 for that ride.
  4. Any remaining balance will be charged to your card on file.
