Phaedra Parks is best known for appearing on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta from 2010 to 2017, when she was fired by the network for spreading harmful rumors about costar Kandi Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker. Parks went on to appear on the season 2 premiere of Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition with her then-boyfriend, Medina Islam, in 2020. The following year, she made her acting debut in the eight-episode anthology series Covenant.

In 2022, she starred on the second season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. It was later announced that she will return for its fifth season, which will premiere in 2024. Parks joined season 10 of Married to Medicine in 2023 and competed on season 2 of The Traitors in 2024.

Parks was previously married to Apollo Nida from 2009 to 2017. The exes share children Ayden and Dylan, who were born in 2010 and 2013, respectively. She moved on with Islam, but the pair split in 2021.
