About

Best known for his career-defining roles in 2012’s Les Miserables and 2014’s The Theory of Everything, this London-born actor originally got his start on the stage in English productions of shows like Twelfth Night and Red.

Besides his acting, Redmayne has also modeled for Burberry with models Alex Pettyfer and Cara Delevingne.

In 2015, Redmayne won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Best Actor for his role as Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. He was also nominated for an Oscar for his controversial role in The Danish Girl.

In December 2014, the actor married publicist Hannah Bagshawe. The couple has two kids together: daughter Iris, born in 2014, and son Luke, born in 2018.
