U.S. Capitol Police Launch New Public Website

August 22, 2016

WASHINGTON, DC – Chief Matthew R. Verderosa announced that the United States Capitol Police (USCP) have launched its new public website today – www.USCP.gov.

“We have been working for the past few months to redesign our website in order to make it more user-friendly – especially for those using mobile devices,” noted Verderosa. “We think all of the individuals who visit our website will find the new www.USCP.gov easier to navigate and the amount of information provided more extensive.”

The new USCP website includes up-to-date information for visitors and those conducting official business in the Capitol Complex including details about how to make deliveries, lists of prohibited items, and instructions on how to obtain a demonstration permit.

In addition, the USCP website provides details about the Department’s mission and how to apply for a USCP job. A page on how to do business with the USCP is also featured.

Please visit and bookmark the new USCP website – www.USCP.gov.
