We tested the cleanability of micro-mesh guards, including Raptor and LeafFilter, by applying debris such as pine needles, leaves, seedpods, acorns and twigs to the guard surface. We used water, a brush and our gloved hands to remove debris and found that micro-mesh doesn’t catch and hold much, if any, debris. Small materials, such as pine needles, can catch in grooves or cracks, but most plant matter slides off.
