Both VPNs provide unlimited bandwidth and work with iOS, Android, Mac and Windows devices. However, Avast SecureLine VPN doesn’t support routers. You can buy pre-configured routers (a router that has been already installed with the VPN’s software) for NordVPN or choose from several compatible models.
When it comes to security features, NordVPN claims to protect all devices against ads, malware and trackers. Avast SecureLine VPN’s WiFi Threat Shield only works on Androids.

NordVPN uses RAM-only (diskless) servers, whereas Avast SecureLine VPN relies on dedicated hardware servers. RAM-only servers are better at keeping your data private because they erase all data every time the server’s power is turned off and on.
About 20% of NordVPN’s network runs on 10 Gbps servers, while Avast SecureLine VPN’s servers have a maximum throughput of 2 Gbps. NordVPN’s large network of fast servers makes it a great option for most.

However, Avast SecureLine VPN’s average upload speed is among the slowest, so it may struggle to meet a business’ needs.
However, Avast SecureLine VPN’s average download speed is quicker than NordVPN’s, which makes it ideal for streaming (though Avast’s download speed falls short of the fastest VPN provider we reviewed, Tunnelbear).
