Smoke over Kryvyi Rih due to emergency situation at enterprise

An emergency situation arose due to a power outage at the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih enterprise, which caused smoke to spread over the Kryvyi Rih district.
That’s according to Yevhen Sytnychenko, head of the district military administration, who broke the news via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"This morning in the city of Kryvyi Rih, an emergency situation occurred at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, connected with the disconnection of production facilities from external power supply. The management of the industrial enterprise made every effort to fix the issue as soon as possible and avoid consequences for the environmental situation in the district," Sytnychenko wrote.
According to the official, residents of several communities in the district smelled smoke.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, air quality may deteriorate in two districts of Kyiv due to a fire in the Vyshhorod district.
