Three Moldovan citizens arrested in Paris for graffiti with coffins

Three Moldovan citizens suspected of stenciling images of coffins with the inscription "French soldiers who died in Ukraine" have been detained in Paris.

This was reported by Le Figaro with reference to the Paris prosecutor's office, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that law enforcement officers have launched "an investigation into the facts of collective damage to state property and conspiracy to commit a crime."

The graffiti was found on a building in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. The exact number of such images is unknown. It is also unclear whether the suspects are related to the people arrested after several coffins with French flags and the same inscriptions were placed near the Eiffel Tower.

As reported by Ukrinform, on 1 June, five coffins with French flags and inscriptions "French soldiers in Ukraine" were placed near the Eiffel Tower. Three suspects were detained.

The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation to identify possible foreign interference.
