Missile attack on Kyiv: One more child may be under rubble of apartment building

Daria Herasymchuk, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights and Child Rehabilitation, said this on Ukrainian television, Ukrinform reports.

"A special meeting of the UN Security Council was convened, during which we were able to present what happened yesterday, to tell about the attack that was carried out not only on Okhmatdyt but also on a residential building, where an entire section was destroyed, resulting in the death of four children. And another child may be under the rubble. The world needs to know about this," Herasymchuk said.

She stressed that it is not about missile debris. "It is a targeted strike by a Russian missile. The Russians are doing everything they plan. These are clearly planned actions, and they are all terrorist and inhumane," Herasymchuk underscored.

As reported, 42 people were killed, including four children, as a result of Russia’s missile attack on Ukraine on July 8. The rescue operation is ongoing.
