Russian missile attack on Ukraine: 36 killed, 140 injured

Thirty-six people were killed and 140 injured in a massive Russian missile attack on cities across Ukraine on July 8.

Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"Thirty-six people were killed and 140 injured in today's Russian missile strikes against Ukraine," the post reads.

Early on July 8, Russian invaders fired 40 missiles of various types over Ukraine.

Earlier reports said that 33 people had been killed in today's missile attack on Ukraine, including 22 in Kyiv.
