Housing Preferences

Thank you for your interest in booking Green Living, Alcohol Free/Substance Aware and Quiet Housing at UCC Campus Accommodation. As we occasionally receive cancellations during the academic year, please contact us for availability details if you are currently seeking accommodation 

We are delighted to offer Green Living, Alcohol Free/Substance Aware and Quiet Housing options at UCC Campus Accommodation.  This accommodation option is available at all locations and is strictly subject to availability. UCC Campus Accommodation at Castlewhite Apartments, Mardyke Hall, Victoria Lodge, Victoria Mills, Crow's Nest and University Hall is owned and managed by Campus Accommodation (UCC) DAC for full time UCC Students, accommodation is specifically designed for student life and accommodation is located within close proximity to UCC. Each apartment has single occupancy study bedrooms, kitchen/living room, and most rooms are ensuite with the exception of Castlewhite Apartments. Students who wish to live in Green Campus, Alcohol Free/Substance Aware and Quiet Housing at UCC Campus Accommodation are required to agree to the terms and conditions in advance of taking up residence.

UCC Campus Accommodation is delighted to introduce Green Living Accommodation options for students at all locations-Castlewhite, Mardyke Hall, Victoria Mills, University Hall, Crow's Nest and Victoria Lodge. You may apply for Green Living Accommodation by choosing this option in your Application and Booking. The principles of Green Living at Campus Accommodation include an active awareness of the consumption of water and energy, ensuring recycling and waste disposal is efficient and by encouraging your fellow students to take part in our ongoing initiatives.  Please find details of UCC Green Campus here https://greencampus.ucc.ie/about/

Campus Accommodation is available to all UCC students, members and allies of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Students may live, study and share an interest in personal enrichment in a safe and supportive environment, supporting understanding about sexual orientation and gender identity.

UCC Campus Accommodation is dedicated to allocating appropriate, welcoming accommodation for all students and we ask students to detail rooming preferences under the Accommodation Options section on their housing application; we can then discuss options (if necessary) in advance of assigning rooms.

Incoming First Year's and Non-1st Year Students

  • Cancellation/confirmation of booking is required before the cancellation deadline (date tbc), If cancelled before the deadline, €250 of the Booking Deposit is refundable. 
  • If cancellation of the booking is received after the deadline, we regret that there will be no refund of the Booking Deposit. 
  • Please note; room keys cannot be issued unless payments due have been paid in full prior to check-in.
