With literally enough "material" for a lifetime of episodes, this lighthearted A&E documentary series focused on the lives, loves, follies, and foibles of the British royal family. Though certainly irreverent, the series was also reasonably respectful to its subjects, giving credit were credit was due to the good works engendered by the royals. Singer Davy Jones of the Monkees hosted (and sang the Monkee-like theme song), while professional "royal watcher" Andrew Morton provided background information and insight.
