My husband wasn't so keen on going on a "farm" tour during our vacation, but ended up enjoying and appreciating it, as did I. It may seem kind if pricey for a 1.5 hour tour (to me), but prices have risen everywhere these days. They take you up into the Lahaina hills in an air conditioned van, and you walk around just a bit while the tour guide explains the process (actually the history of the owner and farm starts in the van). There is a 9 chocolates tasting in their "treehouse" with explanations and great views (you have to be able to go up ~20 stairs). Riley, our guide, was so good on this tour, spoke well and clearly explained and answered all questions knowledgably. I thought those 9 were the only "flavors", but when you get back to their store/factory at the starting point, you realize there are many more. Be prepared for pricing is not a Hershey bar, but high end wonderful chocolate (I'm a bit thrifty but still bought a couple boxes 😋). I asked about the other chocolate tour in upcountry (not affiliated) and was told it's a smaller farm and they don't produce their own chocolates to buy).
Their factory tour, separate tour, must be interesting as well, but we did not do that one (found out the "retired" owner does that tour 4x a day!).
Highly recommend the farm w/ tasting tour!
(not for young children though, and no one under 3 is allowed anyway. I would say prob best for kids over 7, IMO. For those wondering, there's a restroom where the van stops)
