During our stay in Pittsburgh we had multiple opportunities to cross this lovely bridge on Allegheny River. The entrance to it is in the vicinity of Warchol Museum. Fascinating structure of a classic suspension bridge . Beautiful views both forwards while crossing and to the side.

Nice bridge. Great views. Easy walk from our hotel to the baseball stadium, Warhol museum & restaurants on the North Shore. But be aware. I was walking with my wife & our dog & an African-American girl punched me in the face. Idk if she was on drugs or mentally ill, but when she hit me, she ran behind a beam on the bridge. Both eyeballs bulging out of her head. A tourist on the bridge said “You aren’t the first person she has done that to today.” I looked around thinking maybe it was a stupid TikTok knock out challenge but nobody was filming. Had it actually hurt, I’d have called the police. But there were none around, so I went on. Like any big city, you have to have eyes on all sides.

A great place to stop for a photo op or a full photo shoot. I’m a full time traveling photographer who visited from San Jose California for a session on this bridge, and it did not disappoint!

This bridge looks old. I don’t know if it is but it has character. It’s near the sports parks and I liked checking it out. With the Clemente bridge closed for construction this was the main way across.

OK, the bridge is bright yellow and right down the street from the Warhol Museum. It is one of three almost identical bridges in Pittsburgh (the other named for Roberto Clemente and Rachel Carson) which makes them historically significant. This is the middle bridge.

It looks like a nice bridge to walk across and the view is nice but I just crossed the bridge after hitting the museum on the way to the botanical gardens.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s just a bridge, but I really do enjoy the architecture of the Andy Warhol bridge. Iconic to the downtown skyline of Pittsburgh, the Warhol Bridge is the to get the Andy Warhol Museum. Admire the river below and the other bridges, it’s a magnificent tribute to one of Pittsburgh’s most influential citizens!,
