Good for trekking and mountain view
Grouse Mountain is one of the peaks near Vancouver you can go on a day trip just to relax and commune with Nature. There's a gondola ride that takes you to the summit in just four minutes. On top you'll find a welcome area with a restaurant and souvenir shop. From there you can take various trails to follow. Along the way you'll encounter some wild animals, such as deers and bears. The view from the top is spectacular! I would give this place an excellent rating except that there are too many insects flying around, so be sure to bring along some insect repellent and wear long sleeves to protect yourself.

    Cool Bears
We spent a nice day at Grouse. The air tram to get to the mountain was nice. We went to the lumberjack show which was very entertaining and funny. Bird show was informative. Great to see the different birds up close The grizzly habitat was fun. Coola and Grinder were great! Probably the highlight for me. We saw a ranger give a talk about the bears. Skyride to the lookout point was very scenic. Food was good at the BBQ place on site.

Great Cable Car Ride and Amazing Views
Cable car up to the top was amazing. Such a great view of Vancouver down below. It wasn't a sunny day and it was snowing once we got to the top. It was out of season so wasn't too busy. There was an ice rink. Staff were shovelling ice off the paths ready for the Peak of Christmas. The bears were hibernating. There was an incredible view past the bear den of the snowy mountains on the horizon. Probably not much to do here unless you're skiing.

    Best views of Vancouver!
A free shuttle bus runs regularly to Grouse Mountain and back from Canada Place, downtown Vancouver, which takes around 25 minutes. We arrived and got straight onto the gondola without any queuing. Once at the top there was plenty to do, if we had realised that there was so much to do and see we would've tried to arrive earlier! But in the time we had we did well! Bears, birds, lunch, chairlift to the summit, and we even watched the amazing Lumberjack Show, which, as I said was amazing! And as I said previously, the views back over Vancouver are stunning, the closer to the sky you are the better the views! At $79.00pp, I'd say it's good value for money.

Our family visited and spent 5 hours up on the mountain. My advice is to get there early so the gondola isn’t too crowded and you can see all the great views!
We took in the bear talk which was interesting and informative. Both bears were out walking around and splashing in the pond.
We took in the lumberjack show, it was super “campy” and everyone in our group enjoyed it, especially our 10 year old!
We took the chair lift up to the top ( a bit scary for those of us afraid of heights)
Ate lunch and let the kids play in the tree top play area before going back down the mountain.

Definitely a great day with the family and highly recommended.

We arrived here, having pre-booked well in advance, on a very wet cold day with 10 degrees Celsius temperatures and very foggy. Despite this, we decided to take advantage of everything and see as much as we could:
- the downside was that even on such a rainy day, there were still queues with school kids which delayed greatly our arrival at the summit
- you have to take your printed page to the reception area located near the many car parks they have here and exchange it for the tickets, which had another long queue. There is a Starbucks here besides toilet facilities
- at the summit there is a large cabana housing several eateries/toilets/shops etc besides several shows you have to check the timing in order to see as much as you can
- we took a map and noticed the school kids were ready for Zips and ropes circuit while we went to see the sleepy bears, then went to the Birds of prey talk, which was very informative, ending with the amazing Lumberjack show
- the Lumberjack show is truly entertaining and I applaud the 2 guys falling in the cold water, besides the narrator and the DJ: their effort was truly appreciated especially by the large group of screaming kids while bringing lots of smiles to the rest of the people. Personally I have never seen anything like that, with the earliest memory of anything related being a movie made in the 1950's I kept seeing over and over again as I was growing up: Seven brothers for seven sisters
- we decided to have our lunch at one of their restaurant, Altitude bistro, which is not a cafe but a proper restaurant where you wait to be seated, if you want, near the fire or elsewhere. I saw a terrace there which would be great when the weather is fine. Guess, what large families decided to ignore the 'wait to be seated' signs while positioning themselves at tables and starting to eat their food they brought from home, ordering only water from the restaurant? I guess the 'civilisation' is lost on this people, as I could see 2 such large families doing this while the staff did not say anything probably because led to terrible arguments in the past. Not good.
Disgusted, we left the area trying to remember only positive things from here while thanking the very kind staff.

Beautiful views and fun activities. Ride the chair lift even farther to the top. Bird show was excellent. Ate at the cafeteria. It was fine, restaurant was closed for private party otherwise would have eaten there. Free bus transfer from the Canada Place where we bought our tickets.

This was our favourite day out in Vancouver hands down! Everything about it was so much fun from the bird show, the lumberjack show, the bears had an amazing enclosure, the chairlift to the top it was such a jam packed day! The cafe up top was great too! Even saw some wild deer! The free shuttle from downtown is a fantastic idea for those visiting the city without a car too!

We loved Grouse Mountain! We went early so didn’t get as many people there. We seen Coola and Grinder (grizzly bears) they were incredible and the highlight of our day. We also thoroughly enjoyed the lumbar jack show, very funny and entertaining.

We were on a Cruise so this was a shore excursion. Unfortunately the weather on the day was not great so visibility was limited. There are a number of activities available however the timing and length of our tour did not give us the full experience. Definitely a site to visit but allow enough time to see and experience all there is on offer, and hope for good weather.

Nice experience in this huge Mountain. Cable car gives you a amazing opportunity to observe city and it’s mountains. Up to top, I took the other cable car to go higher and see even better how beautiful the region is.

Excellent value for money. Free shuttle up and back. Once in the front gate most attractions are free - bears (amazing up close viewing); lumberjack show (was so entertaining and showed off pretty good skills with axes, log rolling, tree climbing, acrobatics etc); bird show (raptors owls eagles all up close viewing again); really knowledgeable rangers everywhere to ask questions; gondola rides to viewing platforms. zip lines and treetop activities for the adventurous - not sure if these cost extra?? Cannot recommend this highly enough! Ticks do many boxes.

Grouse Mountain: No need to buy admission. Climb up and down or buy download ticket only. We used trails: grouse grind to up( lot of stair to go up, very challenging), BCMC trail to go down. My sons enjoyed zipline.
