Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cool markets. We'd driven up early from Mackay and made it in time for the markets.

Parking is a problem, especially if you have a 7m campervan but we managed a spot after a few passes.

There are lots of stalls with some very clever artisans. Prices are reasonable at most stalls.

Lots of food and drinks on offer too.

So much choice.

Very hot at this time of year. Still worth a visit. It’s a small market with the usual products you’d find at a market. I could only see 1 vegetable stall though and a limited number of food stalls. Close to town and an easy walk from anywhere near the Main Street.

Came early on a Saturday morning and sss surprised some stalls were already set up before 7am! Although by 8am, some were still setting up. A smaller market but worth a visit if you are into:
Crystals (handmade jewellery and generic cheaper ones made overseas, tumbles, points), art work, clothing (tie dye), food, 1 plant store, 2 selling fresh produce, leather hats, doggie accessories, jewlery (Eg locally made, silver, sea glass), skincare products, essential oils, jams and chutney, wooden carved ornaments, tarot reading, hair cuts. Today was a quiet day and I enjoyed being able to chat to the local makers. Some are not local. Some are regulars, others are transient.
Depending on if the above items are your jam or not, this would be a good way to spend 1-2 hours, or not worth visiting.
Close to the main beach and town centre. Taxi rank nearby. I enjoyed it and picked up a few items I’ve been looking for!

We decided to take a stroll around the Saturday morning market in Airlie Beach and found it to be quite enjoyable. There were various stalls selling the usual things that every market sells and some really lovely jewellery stalls. The atmosphere was chilled and after we finished looking around the stalls we walked along the beach and then into the town. A great way to enjoy a sunny Saturday morning if you have a spare couple of hours.

Definitely worth a trip to the markets if you are here on a Saturday. Lots of good market stalls to check out, especially if you have a teenage daughter who is very much into crystals and jewellery.

Go early if you want some Mango Sorbet, we went at 11 and he had already sold out and was packing up. Lots of other food stalls to try.

Playgrounds close by with Live music playing.

These local markets pop up every Saturday and whenever a cruise ship appears on the horizon.
Quite a collection on the beachfront at Airlie beach. Clothing and nic nacks for sale but don't get too excited as there are no bargains to be had.
Stalls all conform to the one design standard and are precise and boring.
By all means spend your money here or take a tuk tuk ride on the street nearby, you might have more fun!

little market, I found it good that we’re wasn’t any double ups of stalls, didn’t take us long to look at it all tho all up 20 mins roughly, didn’t buy much a bottle stubby holder & a fresh mango sorbet which was delicious!
not a bad market, could be more but worth the look on a Saturday morning :)

Great markets on the beach in Airlie Beach. They are only every Saturday so you have to plan your trip. The Mango Smoothie guy was awesome and lots of local arts are crafts. Worth a look.

It was a lovely stroll along the beach and garden through the markets. There were a few little pop up gazebo shops that had, crystals, jewellery, clothes, soap, food, picture frames and art work. We are from NSW and having an opportunity to see the markets is really exciting to us but was disappointed in how small it actually was.. People were lovely and only one shop owner was in your face going "try this".
But still was a nice day out.
