We did the Great Walk from the Baroon Pocket Dam, very nice! Unfortunately, there was not much of a waterfall left. The rocket pool offered a refreshing swim.

Nice forest with good walking tracks. Managed to spot a koala which was a bonus. There obviously hasn’t been decent rain here for a long time and therefore the waterfall into the rock pool wasn’t flowing at all which was a pity. There were other areas which also obviously normally held water but were dried up. I can imagine after rainfall it would be a magical place to visit but sadly it wasn’t for us.

Walk in the bush, it was good to be in the bush, again, I will be there again. I miss getting to the bush. I need to make more time, for myself.

Great walk to see the falls. Lots of steps though and quite a steep descent And a nice swim at the end.

beautiful falls . we walked 12km from the falls to Baroon pocket dam. quiet a hike described as undulating - read steep descents and acescents but terrific all the same.

We have done this track a few times and always love it, whether the sun is shining or not. There are a few options depending on ability too. We bring the kids and they love it also,

Beautiful Falls, amazing trees and great track.
The first part of the walk, the Kondalilla Circuit is a good short walk for most hikers.
We continued further along the Great Walk, and it is for more experienced hikers, but absolutely worth it. The creeks, the changes in nature as you continue on, the rock formations, and waterfalls. The track is carefully looked after.

Just enough of a walk from the car park and a pleasant swim in the rock pool !

A lovely shady walk with well maintained tracks.
My husband opted for a shorter walk while I completed the Falls circuit. We both had a terrific day.

Approx how far is it from the car park to the falls? Would like to take our kids (aged 8 and 5) for a picnic and a swim. We won’t do the entire walk but would like to visit the falls. How far or difficult is the walk to the pools? Thank you

Hi there, Its a reasonable walk and relatively easy to get there to the falls, the rock pool is amazing and a great place for a swim. The path is well maintained with plenty of well made steps to take you to the bottom. Getting back up just takes a bit more effort but still well worth it.

My sister has a disability and can't walk too far. Is the walk to the falls fairly manageable if done with a walking stick?

Go to Mary Cairnccross Scenic reserve instead. Excellent visitors centre, mainly flat short walking trail and lovely scenic views.
