- I540FVandreal0 contributionsHighly recommend kyacking with Jorge & hiking with AlAl was a terrific guide taking my13 year old daughter and I up Mt. Saska. The hike is steep and very rocky in parts, so suggest brining hiking poles. The views and overall experience are stunning. We stopped short of the top as the hiking becomes more technical but the 3.5 hour up/down was great exercise and fun. The day prior we kayaked on the Oye Fjord with Jorge - which was peaceful and stunning. Beneath numerous waterfalls, we glided in two tandem kyacks - inckuding my mother who is in her late 70s. Jorge was patient and instructive, and we stopped half way thru the paddle for a rest and some photos. There were no cruises or ferries given the shallowness of the fjord, which we greatly enjoyed. It was the perfect morning activity. I highly recommend kayaking with Jorge in Oye and hiking in Urke with Al. Thank you!Written 28 June 2024
- Kathryn H0 contributionsGreat guides- great tourE-bike tour of Ålesund. This was a fabulous experience. We were given options if what we would like to do before we started. Linda and Ariana were excellent guides- friendly, kind, knowledgeable and very easy to chat to. They stopped to show us places that were very specific to my husband’s interest in WWII. The scenery was wonderful and it was a great way to see Alesund. We would do it again if we are back in Alesund.Written 21 June 2024
- L1376TBdeanh0 contributionsNot a tourClassic kayak tour in Ålesund - This was not really a tour - we paddled out of the harbour and back with a few sentences about Ålesund that we could have got from google. Not well organized - took 40 minutes+ to get gear organized. The briefing was inconsistent with some participants missing out because there were getting gear. The head guide (Philip) seemed frustrated and was rude at times. There was also a ‘lecture’ on plastic waste in the ocean - while I support reducing plastic waste delivering information on this lecture style does not seem helpful. Not recommended.Written 16 May 2024

- 601kristinb0 contributions5/5 skitouring course! My boyfriend and I took the 5-day skitouring course in Stranda with the guide Olivier Ballari and the inturn Andreas. Our previous experience from skitouring was limited, although we had quite some experience of alpine skiing. During the course we obtained great knowledge and inspiration. We felt safe, well taken care of and experienced breath taking views as well as suberb skiing. Beside the content of the course we lurned a lot by just spending time with Olivier (a true mountain guru) and Andreas (who already felt like a natural guide although allegedly under education). The team made the week truly enjoyable regardless of the changing weather. Would highly recommend and big thanks to both Olivier and Andreas for the knowledge and the fun! /Kristin and AxelWritten 20 March 2024
- audt9300 contributionsChallenging, fun and safe for everyone!Canoying with Uteguiden was really fun! We were a family group of five, from 13 to 56 years. All found it challenging, fun and safe. The landscape is stunning, and the guides were clear and including and they really added to the experience. We have recommended canoying with Uteguiden to friends and family living in the area.Written 30 July 2023
- nathalieaI7353PF0 contributionsRafting in Valldal- A perfect dayRafting in Valldal We were 3 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 8. Even if the weather was a bit unstable, we had an amazing journey. Our guide- Jessee and Guillermo- were very nice, funny and made everything they could so that we all have a great experience. We were very pleased and plan to do that again. Children had a blast!Written 14 July 2023
- kristenl9790 contributionsGreat experience with UtegiddenWe did the sea kayaking for one day, rock climbing today and tomorrow is the rafting trip with Uttegiden. Our guide was Morgan for the sea kayaking and rock climbing, and the trip and he were AMAZING. The rock climbing requires some experience above beginners. We started the day repelling down a 25ft rock wall, then some top roping on beginner to moderately difficult routes, and then some cave exploring. The cave has some tight spaces but was a real fun adventure for all. Sea kayaking was great too but the waves and wind kept us closer to the drop spot. Morgan made sure we got as best of an experience as possible that day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Morgan is a fantastic guide and he made the trip all that more amazing.Written 24 June 2023

- 2023KJ0 contributionsAvalanche-courseThe «basic avalanche-course» in Stranda was really good! Learned so much, and now I feel much more comfortable planning my randonee ski trips. Would highly recommend this course!Written 28 March 2023
- CelineCrevisier0 contributionsAbsolutely greatThanks to the great team! Super accommodating with the weather and our ski level to find the right trip, pushing us outside of our comfort zone and get a great experience! From calling some days before to understand our expectations to laughing with us when it gets demanding, we had a great time every step of the way 🤩Written 13 February 2023
- 560michaelo0 contributionsFirst class ski touring in SunnmørsalpaneFirst class ski touring experience. Hit all the marks. Great views, divine skiing, superb guide, safe and reliable in the Backcountry. Oscar and Uteguiden have it dialed in. Tailored our tour to our experience level and shared very useful information about route selection, assessing backcountry hazards such as avalanche risk and a history of the local area and insights into Norwegian culture. Would tour with Oscar again!Written 9 January 2023
- Deb W0 contributionsKayaking in GeirangerThis company provided a kayaking excursion for our ship in Geiranger, Norway. There were only 6 clients and 2 guides so it was really personalized. We paddled in the fjord and they stopped us a couple of times to point our interesting things-one was to show us the different types of seaweed. It was a great experience.Written 10 September 2022

A breathtaking experience cycling along the mountain pass. Photographs do not do it justice, nor capture the majesty and awe of the place.
My husband and I went on this trip independently when our cruise ship docked in Hellesylt and were not disappointed! We were the only people on the tour so we set off with our wonderful guide Katy and had the best day cycling through the mountains. The packed lunch provided was very tasty indeed. Katy was a pleasure to spend the day with and we would love to go back!
