After vacationing at various 4/5 star hotels, Iberostar has garnered our full devotion and loyalty. The experience is so satisfying, each time we visit, that there is no interest in looking elsewhere. This has now become our vacation home. We have also shared our experiences with family members and friends, recommending Iberostar as one of the few affordable all-inclusive resort, where quality customer service, well kept insect free rooms, clean facilities (pools, lounge areas, dining areas, gym, etc.), superb tasting foods and courteous staff members are combined to guarantee a most memorable vacation.

To date, they have not failed to deliver on their commitment to excellence and I take great pleasure in recognizing the people who went far and beyond in making our stay absolutely fantastic.

The Prestige Lounge:
Now, this was Customer Service beyond ordinary. An experience we confidently express and boast about. A standard above the standard. They make you feel like Royalty. Like you really matter.

Rooms:
Rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. House keeping is consistently on point. You can expect to return to tidy fresh smelling room each day. Evening services, the efforts shown are no less.

The resort offer a wide variety of international and local cuisine to satisfy all palates, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have dined at most and so far they have all impressed. Surf & Turf, Gourmet, Mediterranean and Oriental being our favorite and most outstanding.

Gym & Recreationally Facilities:
For certain, the gym is fully outfitted with modernized equipment. The staff is helpful, patient and jovial. They take pride in ensuring a clean, healthy environment and most of all proper usage of equipment and safety for all.

The more I visit this resort, the better it gets. Although a short trip, it was so amazing and exhilarating. The grounds were very clean and well manicured - the rooms were spotless (there we 3 couples of us). The food very tasty all while offering wonderful varieties. The Jamaican corner - yum, yum, yummy.

Let me tell you about the staff! They were all courteous and friendly. The Star Prestige team spoiled us and sooooo very accomodating. Sending a shout out to Candice, Jesmesice, Shannon, Xiomie, Jodeann ( concierge), Petrienna. Their service is unmatched and we sincerely Thank them. We have traveled to many resorts in Jamaica and this is by far our #1 choice.

We have previously stayed in Suites and were also amazed by the staff. Thank you Iberostar for such great experiences!

My husband and I had a great time there. Staff is on point, and the cleanness of the hotel was on point as well.
Tamara was excellent with giving us info about the hotel and area. Karen was also excellent setting up our excursions and finding us wonderfull driver named Hue who was really easy to talk to and had many laughs. And also we had a female driver who was damn good at whipping that Van around down town Montego Bay, I can remember her name but. I know she like names that start with the Letter "T". The Cleanliness of our room was always on point . Rashmaine our butler was awsome he hooked our mini fridge up with Vodka when I couldn't drink rum anymore. All the bartenders to the cooks and servers were the sweetest people and easy to talk to.

Will be going back again!

Man, I had a BALL! From the day we arrived, SAFA (concierge) greeted us and set up our dinners. TIP - Email in advance if you don’t like late dinners. Everyone, including us likes to eat at 6:30/7 so those spots are hard to find. From there we ate at the buffet (waiting for our room). The buffet was AMAZING! Either that or we were starved :) My husband said it was both. We dined on authentic Jamaican food, which we loved! Curry Goat, oxtails and pumpkin rice. YUM! Our room was ready when we finished. Ocean view 6215. AMAZING room, space, BED, pillows, etc.

Shortly after our butler found us, RORY. Rory was the day butler, Husain at night. They were both OUTSTANDING, bought us Jamaican Rum every night, champagne for our anniversary and I can’t forget the bottle of Red waiting for us when we arrived. Rory also ran us a bath after a long day with the letters LOVE made from the resorts flowers. It was beautiful. I really appreciate the little things.

We ate at the French restaurant and Surf and Turf, Both FANTASTIC! We had other reservations but they were too late and we fell asleep :) We had couple massages at the beach which were outstanding. The SPA is not really open (COVID) but I am told you can go there for your massage. We opted out and just did them on the beach.

Beach is great, pools great! The pool service was slow for me but it didn’t bother me. I just walked to the bar :) these servers have a lot of people that they’re trying to help so I would use my 2 feet if it wasn’t happening fast enough for me :)

Covid testing was fast and simple. Room service (ordered only 2x) was hot and yummy! Try the trufffle burger or the Wings and Fries! All and all we had a GREAT time! Iberostar/Jamaica, you owe us NOTHING!

tips - don’t forget about your maid. They work really hard and deserve tips when you leave!

We had a great stay at the resort. Everyone that we interacted with from the Iberostar’s staff were friendly and responding when said “Hello to”. The staff was genuinely interested in how things were going. We are planning to return.
A few items for constructive improvements are the following:
At arrival, we were asked to attend a breakfast with the concierge the next day. We politely declined and they were shocked as to why were would not attend. We again said that were not interested and wanted to spend our time doing what we wanted to do, relax, and have fun. The next day we passed by the Concierge in the hallway and again were asked about coming to breakfast and then get a free gift. We again, politely declined. We did not come to the resort to have a sales pitch about any time-sharing or other promotional events that were offered.
A few days later our phone rang at 7:30 AM, we did not respond because we were sleeping. The phone rang again at 8:30 AM, which was answered. We were again asked about coming to a breakfast to speak with a representative. Now we were truly upset! This has now become unwelcomed advances. We spoke to our Butler, Shane about the incidents as we want to improve visitor’s experiences at the resort.
Another item that we wanted to share is that we made reservations at Teppanyaki Kiniro restaurant for the hibachi dinner. The hibachi dinner is normally an entertainment experience where the chef interacts with the guests throughout the cooking of the meal. We did not have any of that. A table on the other side of the room had the entertainment and they all seem to be having fun, laughing, and having a ball. Not so much at our table, very disappointing.
Again, we would like to return to the resort, but felt the need to pass along some items that could be improved.

We all had such a wonderful time at the resort last week and sadly we miss it already! We met some wonderful people and drank and ate WAY too much but it was so worth it. The staff here were absolutely fantastic. Our concierge Jodian was a pure delight and our butlers Omar and Terri were on top of everything. Hats off to our absolute favorite bartenders ever Dennis, Jerry and Christopher. These guys made our pool drinking so much fun. We laughed and enjoyed playing all the games with the Star crew, Smiley, Starwberry and Mystique. We had the best dinner at La Toscona and our waiter Roynell was the best, he steered us to all the right choices. All of the restaurants were amazing and great service! We will definetly be back to this resort and cannot recommend it enough.
