We love this restaurant and are happy to finally have good sushi in Bucerias. The service is usually excellent and the food and drinks are as well. I was a bit disappointed the last time we went though. We sat at the sushi bar and ordered tuna but the sushi chef offered us to try(we thought for free) a different fish after our tuna. He just handed to my son and said, in Spanish, try this one. He also gave him rice that wasn’t included with our food. When I received the bill, I was a bit shocked how much it was, especially since we didn’t order the sashimi or rice. Still a great place, but I don’t think we’ll sit at the bar again.

My family and I have sampled many restaurants in the area having lived here for the last 20+ years. Mikoh has become our "Sushi Spot", we enjoy their food , service and location. A few weeks ago, my son misplaced his wallet. He searched and searched and finally considered it lost. It had a few hundred pesos in it, but the important thing was his school ID, without it he would be denied access to some school activities. Yesterday, my son and some fellow students had lunch at Mikoh's and as soon as they sat down, a waiter said, we have been waiting for you to return. He presented my son's wallet to him. The restaurant staff had found the wallet left from a previous visit, saved it, and returned it to him with everything intact, including his pesos and much needed ID. THANKS to MIKOH'S staff, and management, for restoring faith in the world, (and thanks for the sushi too!)

As always great personalized service, excellent food and great drinks. The pork belly skewer is rich with perfect umami. Teriyaki ribeye wrapped asparagus was flavorful and tender. Hamachi tiradito was super fresh and bright flavor. Rolls were all text book constancy and super fresh. Surprise desert for our anniversary topped the night off!

Very centrical place, lovely decorations, outstanding service. Everyone was kind and attentive. We got amazing recommendations for the sushi rolls and desserts (Tempura Helado is a great dessert to share). It was our first visit but far from the last.

We went with the servers recommendation of tempura shrimp appetizer. Loved it and loved it with the fried garlic, pickled jalapeños, We had two rolls with tuna, wonderful fresh flavor and beautifully prepared. Why wouldn't Mexico have great sushi, they have wonderful fresh seafood. We will be back soon.

Just finished a great meal. Heber was our server and was wonderful. They were great the moment we walked in. We ordered 5 rolls and appetizers a cocktail and 3 mocktails and the bill was under $150 usd. Quality of food was amazing. We were very thankful for the air-conditioning! Just found the music to be a bit loud. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thank you Heber!

This place is one of the coziest places I’ve been to in Bucerias! The staff here is so kind and so understanding. I don’t speak Spanish at all and our server, Christian, was so patient. He took the time to answer all of our questions and was extremely sincere. I even asked for some spicy sauce for my ramen and he gave me a small sample of the best chili oil. He took the time to answer how they even make it! I also tried their tempura roll and it’s even better than anything I can find in the states!

We celebrated our anniversary at Mikoh and they made it such a special night. We arrived to a white linen tablecloth with rose petals spelling “te amo” (I love you in Spanish). Maria was our server and was available all night. This was a fantastic break from traditional Mexican cuisine we had all week and we loved it! We ordered thick cut sashimi to start (thin cut will double your pieces but the thick cut was perfect) with spicy edamame. They had traditional Thai dishes on the menu but we stuck to three rolls and it was more than enough. The fish was plentiful and the sauces on the roll were absolutely delicious.
One of the best features of the restaurant is you can choose to sit indoors in the air conditioning or outdoors in the open air. We opted for indoors only because we had been outdoors all day but both are great.
This is definitely going to be a place we continue to come back to. With so many great restaurants in Bucerías, you wouldn’t think to do an Asian-fusion place but it was wonderful!

This is an excellent restaurant that has great food and prices are great. Karina, our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and understood a fair amount of English. I celebrated my birthday and they sang happy birthday and gave me a special dessert. Highly recommend you eat here if you are in Bucerieos. Would definitely go back here again

We’ve loved this restaurant in the past but not this time! One appetizer never arrived even after letting the waiter know (the manager finally brought it to us after we finished dinner) and another appetizer was not what we ordered. The beef in the Teppanyaki was not fresh. Sad to say this visit was sub-par.

Been to 2 other sushi places on our previous trips which are also very good but didn't want to take a cab so decided on Mikoh because it was closer and to try something new. What a pleasant surprise - rolls were so fresh and tasty! Poke bowls were AMAZING! Will definately be going again on our next trip this way. Prices were inexpensive compared to home in Canada, especially for the amount of rolls/order.

Went there on. Wednesday November 29th. Started with Rock Shrimp, Shrimp Tempura and Beet Salad. All were terrific. Then we had Salmon and Tuna dishes and then we had 4 different rolls, they have a special 2 for 1 after 8 Pm. All of the food was very good. Our waiters were GREAT. Christian and C hristian. Very very attentive and funny.
Definitely will be back.

We just finished an amazing meal. Cristian, our waiter, was like an old friend visiting and had perfect recommendations. My wife likes her Cosmo martinis with lots of sour lemon and these guys delivered…second only to mine apparently.
We had rock shrimp, avocado roll and filet tappanyaki - all recommendations of Cristian and they were delicious.
Definitely visit and say hi to Cristian!

There is a reason people rate this 5 star. It is fantastic. From the moment you enter, you are warmly greeted. Decor is beautiful. Restaurant is very clean. Menu is vast and Moses, our server, was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The food was outstanding. The mojitos as well. Reasonably priced. Air conditioned when necessary. We dined for lunch. Nice music, not too loud. Credit cards accepted.

I laughed out loud when I read last review and would like to echo their critique. Why do restaurants in Bucerias feel compelled to play such outdated music. Our lunch was full of ac/dc Van Halen type of music….gives atmosphere of being in a very bad low class movie. I think the owners of these restaurants need to travel more to really ‘great’ restaurants to see what they play. How about LoFi beats? Or at least contemporary and so glad we didn’t have the country and western day - I would have walked out if that were the case! I agree TVs = can’t be a great restaurant.
Food was pretty good - they are trying. We have had sushi in some of the best restaurants (including Japan) so we are very discerning. What’s with all the cream cheese in Bucerias ? Overall would recommend. Staff was great and friendly.
