Great location, cooking needs improvement

Extremely good looking location ... you feel like in the UK. When eating, however, I was disappointed. The fish platter is too salty to feel any taste, pasta with red sauce ... tastes only tomato paste, etc. A plus for fish soup and serving ..

Great place for food and drinks, actually cozy

Nice pub location, when we visited in the afternoon, it was not crowded. They have some outside seats facing the street. The waitress was friendly and recommended us some good things off the menu. We got some beer and lemonade for starters, then ordered the Irish Pie and Duck Confit. I would recommend they change the plate for the duck as a soup plate did not make it easy to eat, though the waitress did bring a flat plate so I used that to slice the duck. The dishes were delicious, especially the pie! It was so good, the crust was flaky and tasted amazing and the stew inside was soft and well made. Got some fried Papanasi for dessert, they were good but would have loved some more cheese.

All the ordered food was very fresh and tasty. The portions are generous. The ambient has the classic irish vibe and the serving is very nice. Had a great experience!

best burger in town!

we live in this city and we always come to this pub because they have concerts and sport events. The food is very good and they have irish dishes. But the Burger is THE BESTTTTT!!!! And also very good draft beer.

Stay away from the ribs

Cool sportsbar in Ramnicu Valcea, but stay away from the ribs. Very fatty, come with cold fries.... there are better dishes on the menu.

The best place in town

It is the ideal place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Alone or with friends. Warm, beautiful atmosphere. Located in the city center, it is ideal for business meetings. From time to time, quite good shows.

This is near a hotel, at the ground floor. It is a nicely and elegantly decorated restaurant The menu is very rich and the food is just slightly above mid level for basic dishes, but quite good prices for premium dishes. The milanese schnitzel was very good, the rabbit leg was better with its flavoured mashed potatoes. The portions are large and the quality good, so prices are well aligned in the end. The service was decent.

A friendly pub ,delicious Romanian food

I came here for dinner ,being invited by my friends .The restaurant Ok is near the small private hotel Castel ,just in the centre of the town ,not far from the town hall .The restaurant is on a quiet street and you can park your car in front of it ,if you are lucky to find a place .There is also another building on the other side of the street ,belonging to the same company ,Ok .The young waitress offered us the menu ,with international dishes ,but we decided to try Romanian cuisine .The chicken Schnitzel with mashed potatoes was delicious ,it was brought to us in 15 minutes on a traditional wooden plate ,the atmosphere of the small terrace outside is nice .The price was reasonable ,I 'm going to repeat the experience with other Romanian dishes .

Excellent Pork ribs with onion rings and wedges potatoes.Very nice and helpful staff,especially Mihai,who served us with the smile on his face all the time.Very comunicative and client oriented.

Elegant restaurant,awful services and food.

Visited for the first time in a while(the restaurant has just been renovated and wanted to give it a try). Still, I had part of the same bad services: waited an hour for a portion of papanasi and a portion of apple strudel with vanilla sauce. The most annoying thing was that the food was very bad-the vanilla sauce meant melted vanilla ice-cream and the strudel was just uneatable.

Stayed in the city for three weeks on a business trip. I ate here most days for their large menu and great drinks. Service was fast and consistent.

High prices, worst food ever

Long story short : the prices are too high for what they offer, we ordered a couple of pizzas and they had frozen dough and some Guiness beer which they had water in them,it wasnt the original Guiness taste. This is something specific for this 3rd world city, they try to rip off money from people. Wouldn't recommend this even to homeless people.

A pleasant experience. Decent food with a bit spicy prices but good,nonetheless. Good italian and romanian cuisine and a big variety of foods so you have plenty of room for choices. Overall,an OK restaurant.
