On a sunny day there is no better place in Weymouth for a light lunch . From fresh local sea food , tasty toasties or breakfast butties. There is always something that appeals to the fussy eaters in my family... the location is splendid for watching the boats in and out of the harbour, the service is so friendly and efficient. Today we had mackerel, cajun chicken, brie and bacon toastie and a breakfast sarnie. The freshly squeezed orange juice and the milkshakes are v. Good . Love it

This little cafe is always a treat to visit. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main harbour, along the harbour path near the Stone Pier. Fast service and not too long a wait for food considering the small kitchen. Lovely relaxing scenery watching the boats go in and out of the harbour mouth. Food is fantastic, I’ve been a few times and have enjoyed it every time. Prices are reasonable and on the menu is a range of different snacks, meals, hot and cold drinks and locally sourced fish and seafood. Food containers are environmentally friendly. Staff are polite and helpful and there is a toilet. Eating is outside so if it’s chilly bring a coat! All in all 5*.

This cafe is the most friendly and welcoming cafe I’ve ever visited. Very friendly staff that will go above and beyond to make your visit very enjoyable. !! The drinks are very reasonably priced, the coffees are delicious not the normal cheap stuff that others serve you with. And the food well !! Try the Cajun chicken royal with cheese !! Absolutely amazing. The toasted sandwiches are just as good !! Best till last the Thai curry platter was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef. Definitely will be back again !!

Had a lovely fish& chip lunch here. Food and service was great but what makes it special was the location. Sitting by the water watching the boats passing back and forth was magical. They serve a wide variety of food and drink to suit all tastes. Highly recommended on a dry day (no covered seating).

Worth walking around the gushing harbour, down Cove Road past the Sailing Club to this cafe. We enjoyed fresh crab sandwiches in good granary bread at £11.95 each. They had fresh grilled mackerel on offer which I almost tried and when I saw them I wish I had. Friendly service and outdoor seating.

Stone pier cafe ... thank goodness they survived these awful times and thank goodness the summer has been kind . The situation is ideal , the food fabulous , this year we have also thoroughly enjoyed the paella Fridays . Weymouth is blessed with fabulous cafes and Stone pier is consistent in being one of the best . If you have never tried the grilled mackerel here , accompanied by a large cold glass of white , you haven’t really lived ! In these horrid times it is also a very safe place to go and eat . Thank you Stone Pier for providing nervous customers with such lovely food and ambiance ..

We had decided to stop by this little outside diner early evening for a quick drink, this then turned into a whole evening! We were pleasantly surprised that a live music duo (Surf Birds) started to play at the front, it’s at that point we decided to stay and order the paella and veg bean and rice combo. Both absolutely tasty and hats off to the friendly staff! We’ve eaten out a lot at many different locations but when the customer service is good it really makes for a great experience. The only downside is the weather!

We stumbled across this little gem of a cafe on a walk and stopped for coffee and cake. Both were absolutely yummy, served by very friendly staff. Two days later we sought out the cafe again and this time had lunch. It, again, well exceeded expectations. Sandwiches and toasties beautifully served with tasty salad garnish (lovely dressing) we both agreed, the food was heavenly. This is essentially a kiosk, with outdoor seating on the quay, but don't be put off by that, it is an absolute gem of a place.

Very friendly helpful staff. We orders the handmade burger and the Abbotsbury banger with one portion of chips to share. It all arrived freshly cooked, we didn’t have to wait long at all. The meals were arranged perfectly on the plates which I think is so important. There was a bit of side salad and a couple of extra dressings. It was one of the best burgers I have ever tasted. The whole experience was so relaxing, I would highly recommend anyone give them a try. You will not regret it.

Nice location but so expensive! Great spot to take in the views, but a beer a coffee and one tiny bacon, brie & cranberry toasty with a few leaves a couple of slices of cucumber and tomato came to £17.70...! No crisps or chips with that, just a tiny toasted sandwich which was gone in seconds... I think that toasty was £9.50. For that I'd expect something pretty special. This is Weymouth not Monaco.

Messages on Facebook asking if a meal was suitable for someone with a nut allergy . Received a reply stating that they would check and get back to us . No further reply received so visited the cafe to ask . Employee went to check with manager who was very dismissive. First stated he didn’t know, then when asked what ingredients were used , decided that it contained nut traces . He didn’t come to the window, just shouted across . No allergy folder was offered . Needless to say , we didn’t stay and won’t be visiting again.

Spent a wonderful couple of days in Weymouth visiting our friends and were so pleased Stone Pier is open for the season. The extensive choice of toasties always makes my mouth water. Cheese and Kimchi was exceptional as was hubby's bacon, brie and cranberry. The coffee fresh and perfect temperature hot..hate luke warm coffee! The pricing is spot on value for money and delicious fresh food. Really friendly staff and calm, peaceful location to just sit and chill. We could stay here for hours! It's a must visit if you are in Weymouth, definitely worth the walk around or park at Nothe.

We called in for lunch on a sunny Sunday. Although it was busy, service was brisk and the food quality excellent. We especially enjoyed the fish and chips and the whitebait. This cafe offers great value for money. We found takeaways in town with higher prices than this cafe which offers a table with a superb view. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Stone Pier Cafe!!

Found this place on a walk around the harbour when we saw a little sign towards the pier. A bit further away from the main old harbour but worth it. A great spot by the water. Food was delicious. Crab and avocado salad was very tasty and husband had a cod bap which was so fresh and delicious. Friendly service and reasonably priced too.

Superb service and friendliness. Superb quality of food. The bacon sandwich which I didn’t have looked so fresh, so beautifully cooked on my husband’s plate. He agreed. My choice of Victoria sandwich cake with fresh cream and strawberry jam was equally delicious. So glad we are here for another week!
