Glamourous Santorini is deliciously different. Geographical newness is in part to thank. Lying in south central Turkey, the moonscaped region of Cappadocia, southeast of Ankara, is most famous for unique geological features called fairy chimneys. Cars aren't allowed, so take local trains or ferries to go from town to town—or walk one of the spectacular trails that connect them.
