- Ross WSelkirk, Canada229 contributionsWhen you travel in September there are some closures that don't allow you to see all that you would like. This was one example of that. We could walk up to it at the waterfront, but it was shut down for the season.Written October 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Christine JFort Frances, Canada56 contributionsIf you need a place to relax and just sit down to read, or review, or search, or have some fun, or keep the kids (or parents, lol) busy, this is the place to be. Open 7 days a week, I know my nephew and youngest son spend lots of time here. They like to prepare before the new school season is upon them.Written August 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marlene BWiarton, Canada40 contributionsThe church was beautifully appointed and the congregation very welcoming. They had a lovely soloist lead the singing and an accomplished organist. There was hospitality following Mass in their parish hall. There is lots of parking surrounding the church. It is worth the drive to see their sister church Our Lady of Lourdes on the reserve as it has outstanding grounds and a beautiful monument to deceased members.Written October 14, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Krista T.8 contributionsWe visited Point Park for a family reunion. It was a perfect location. Lots of shade, picnic tables, playground activity, the beach. The kids had an absolute ball swimming and boating in Rainy River.
Only downside were the sketchy bathrooms that were rather gross, smelled and were the only option for changing into/out of bathing suits for day users.Written August 5, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. A wonderful venue to bring in musical concerts, plays and speakers and worthy of the praise received from performers.
There is an issue with the heating/cooling as often must be shut off as too noisy and interferes with the sound.
Walking to the seats is not comfortable especially if mobility is impaired as the steps are uneven and there are no handrails.Written April 21, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - William BMidland, GA498 contributionsI have played this course once per year over this past 40 years.
Positives- beverage cart on a Monday. Friendly young clubhouse staff. Greens were a 9 on a scale of 1-10. Fairways were decent. Carts were good.
Areas of needed improvement - sand traps are nonexistent- weeds and no sand just dirt, rental clubs - not bad but not a complete set, need to have tees in inventory to sell.Written July 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
