Competent staff, well run operation, check for specialty nights, Sprint cars, big blocks, etc. Concession food good, prices comparable to market. Check directions local signage minimal. Show is worth the trip.

I have been coming to this track since I moved to Ontario in 2007 and let me tell you; the Fireball Enduro, presented by Mark's Parts is the best event held at the speedway. If you like racing and a cheap outing; go to the Enduro. Take your family if you want and enjoy a delicious poutine for only $5!

Fun place, good show and the price is really good. My favorite racetrack in the northeast. The mods 358 are the main class

First of all good luck finding the speedway. The entrance is so hidden by trees you can't see it. Then once inside, the easiest seats to reach for a person with mobility issues, are reserved. You can't tell they are reserved because the placcard is small and where you can't see it.Instead of being on the seat where it can be seen. Then if you want to reach the nice new wooden benches, the aisle has no handrails so very difficult to get to these new benches. The handicapped area is very small so the group overflows. I guess they aren't aware the population is now elderly so the need is for a large handicapped area. Oh and beware of signs. There are no sitting signs in some areas, and no standing signs. But you aren't alllowed to sit either in the no standing area., Their signage needs a big gigantic improvement.

Well lets start for main entrance not very clearly marked. You are not allowed to sit where it says no standing. No railing down every isle saw numerous people struggling and Handicapped section is very small. they need to upgrade as we are in the day and age of people with mobility issues. the only fun part
was watching the numerous races Someone please bring back capital city speedway in ashton.

Very loud but loads of fun. good value for a family (kids only 2$). The poutine was great because the cheese got all melty (not refrigerated). Most days there are several types of races and the action runs almost constantly.
The place is well run and the staff and the vendors are friendly and bilingual.
Try the Mudflaps.
