- ImKlem1285 contributionsA Wonderful Place to Be!!We had a fantastic weekend at Killington!! There was an excellent restaurant onsite, the areas were clean and quiet, parking wasn’t bad considering the main garage was under construction, and everything worked perfectly! We were close to many mountain activities, and literally within walking distance to the K1 Gondola.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten October 4, 2023
- Steve TLorton, Virginia9 contributionsKillington Rocks! These guys can do some amazing things with snowmaking even after it rains early season in December. In short, its probably the best chance for good skiing on the east coast early and late and in between. Large selection of terrain and they work hard to keep it all open!Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten December 28, 2023
- LivinginbrooklynBrooklyn, New York2 contributionsKillington Pico is my home mountainKillington Pico are just an exceptional combination of ski areas with very different terrain and customer experience. Killington is a BIG mountain and a BIG resort. The skiing experience is so broad and there’s something for every level of skier. Pico is a small mountain, family oriented experience but has fantastic terrain. I could buy the NY pass and go to Gore and Whiteface or I could go to Sugarbush but I choose Killington Pico because the depth of experience is a much better value on every level.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten January 21, 2024
- Catherine M19 contributionsPerfect ski day at Killington with an ambassador tour.I and some friends went to Killington on Sunday and skied Pico on Monday and Killington on Tuesday. What was amazing besides the weather and recent fresh snow was our excellent Killington ambassador tour guide Kevin. He gave us a tour of Killington taking us down the six mountains and getting us back to Ramshead lodge where we had started. If you have never been skiing in Killington take the tour you won’t regret it.Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten February 6, 2024

Killington lost and found service. People are absolutely terrible. Called before 4 o’clock and asked to see if skis were left behind in a particular spot and a particular color easy to find no one could help me out they said that they would get back to me by 4:30 and they were conveniently closed at five and there is not one phone number one person to talk to to see if they were left behind expensive skis And they said that they would get back to me and conveniently they made sure that they were gone call back the next day with all the monies we spend up there and they could not help me out at all. What is this place turned into !!!!!

This place is a dump. Inadequetly staffed, over priced with no towels filthy shower, with footprints in it . The room had not been vaccumed every other local hotel was full so we had no choice. A complait at checkout did not stop them from charging full price & subsequent complaints to Hilton finally got us 100000 points not an adequate response.

I had perfect conditions on a lovely Tuesday afternoon, no crowding or congestion on the trails nor lifts. It was a perfect day. Also such a good variety of trails!

Come here all the time ticketing ridiculous that no" in person" ticketing ...requring an on line fiasco.. the new lodge does not have capacity for the number of people even on weekdays...lift attendants allow single riders when ridiculosly long lines....getting to be a huge ripoff.

Do you care more about Ukrainian people versus Americans? If so Killington is the place for you. Fourth of July one US flag versus Ukrainian flags flew.
Are you still flying more Ukrainian flags than the USA? Sad to see a crooked country getting 10’s of billions of dollars when that money could help struggling Americans! Embarrassing!

When do lifts close? Operating schedule says 8am - 4pm, but does this mean the lifts close at 4pm or 30 mins prior?
Thanks

Hi , when we went to Killington, it was to see my son compete on a Spartan Race, The Killington Ski Resort were the race was held was just breathtaking, I imagine in the winter those mountains fill of snow and if you and your family like winter activities, that’s the right place to go. Hope I was helpful.

Hi Christopher my family and I want to Visit Vermont in January, we are from Miami and I you know we don't see snow very much lol. we want to go tubbing since we don't ski. I know you dont recommend the Killigton resort, is there anywhere else we can go tubing? thank you.

I've been skiing here for 50 years and have lived here for the past 17 years. I see no reason why someone would not recommend Killington as a place to visit. The tubing park should be open in January, the resort is not crowded except on the MLK holiday weekend, and there are plenty of other things to do in the area as well. Granted, Killington is not "quintessential small town Vermont" but, still, it is a nice place to visit. Use Killington as your base and visit Woodstock and Quechee, drive north or south on scenic Route 100 and enjoy all that the Killington region has to offer. Who knows? You might even give skiing a try by taking a basic introductory lesson. Hope that helps.
Hi I’m looking to book a trip in January for a ski trip. There’s 4-6 of us and we want a ski in and ski out cabin or lodge or condominium of some sort. Are there any that are a little ways up the mountain? I couldn’t find any that aren’t at the bottom right next to the lift.

Sunrise is on the back side side of the resort; on Bear Mountain. It is miles from all the restaurants and other apres' ski activities and it takes a long time to navigate by lifts to the main/front side of the resort if that is where you want to ski. Look at the complexes on East Mountain Road. Some are walk-to/ski- home. Some are economical and two have private Clubhouses with pools Then there is the Grand if you want a hotel atmosphere. Personally, I prefer to feel more like I am "in the mountains" by choosing a smaller, quieter complex set in the trees.

We will be here at the end of September for a wedding and noticed there is no air conditioner in the 1 bedroom condo should we look for another place or is it cool enough in September not to worry about it.

It most likely will be cool at night and warm during the days.
May rain some.
Also depends if you are in a ground floor or upper floor condo.
