We parked nearby in West Trail at the Rotary Park (Jubilee/River Park) lot. There was some construction leading up to the bridge making wheelchair access a bit bumpy. Nice gazebo and benches in Rotary park and benches on the other side of the bridge in East Trail. Nice views of East and West Trail.

A nice way to cross the river without cars and trucks zipping by you! I don't cross it in the winter hen there is ics at all because i have heard it is a bit on the slippy side. So be careful!

Parked my car beside Trail Museum/Visitor Centre/Library and walked towards the Columbia River Skywalk along a nice riverside path. While on the bridge, you could feel a little sway but nothing made you being cautious with your gait/balance. Great view of the Victoria Street Bridge and Columbia River. Due to lack of enough time to stop in Trail, I could have done a loop trail which combines both bridges and the riverside promenade on both sides of the river.

As part of a 2 1/2 hour walk around Trail I crossed the Mighty Columbia River on the Skywalk. Great views and the breeze off the river felt great on a very warm day. Trail is a compact town so anybody can easily access the Skywalk. Do it ...you'll enjoy it. P.S. a 10 minite walk on the downtown side leads you to the Trail Craft beer brewery. Nothing better for those very hot days in Trail.

Trail BC has really ramped up their appeal. The bridge is a great addition. This adds to the appeal of walking in Trail. We all know Gyro is a beautiful walk so it's nice to also have this bridge. On top of that the biking is excellent. There are a lot of homeless people in the downtown core which prevents me from making a full loop through town to the connecting old bridge. That needs to be addressed.

Did not expect such an extensive path/walkway along the Columbia River in Trail. In addition to the highway bridge, there’s a pedestrian bridge that connects the both sides of the walkway across the river. To the north from the highway, the pathway leads to a new skate park and large picnic/playground area near Gyro Beach. Many folks were out early morning and evening enjoying the pathway.

Was a little disappointed with this attraction. It was a beautiful place to observe the Columbia River and the skyline of Trail including the Teck Factory. But my kids were not excited to find out it was just a bridge. The deck of the bridge was very hot and my dog couldn’t even walk on the surface.

My family was rather tired by the time we got to the bridge from a day of sightseeing but I guess you could turn the skywalk into a more walking tour that included other sites as well.

Now that the weather has turned into spraying I often walk my dog along here. It's peaceful as there aren't very many people. The river is wonderful to watch

This walk includes a new bridge which is quite nice to look at. In the summer there are lots of flowers and opportunities to take photos. Plenty of benches along the way.Close to coffee shops, a craft brewery and local restaurants.

We did a lap of the two bridges including this great one! I loved the way it seemed to gently move constantly. Great fun and a real achievement by the local authority. YMMV
