This museum is just off Hwy 1 in Moose jaw and easily reachable, We spent a pleasant 4 hours here in this museum. The museum is one of four by the same name in Saskatchewan, we visited all four - Moose Jaw, Yorktown, North Battleford and Saskatoon. Each one has a slightly different emphasis for their theme. The one in Moose Jaw is mainly entered around transportation - trains, planes, buses cars. There is a huge collection of vehicles all set out in good displays. You need to spend 3-4 hours here. Museum has no cafe but there are picnic tables in the grounds.

Really amazing collection of vehicles, radios hand planes. A few boats thrown in. Wonderful people. Displays are very polished with interesting blurbs.

We really didn't know what to expect from a small city museum in the middle of the Canadian Prairies. This one however far exceeded our expectations. The exhibits were many and varied and covered many different aspects down throug the history of Saskatchewan. They were so complete and relatable. I learned more about my home province in three hours than I have in over 16 years of residence! Even after three hours, we still didn't see everything and went back the next day. The best part....our ticket covered entry for two days, which is a bonus when touring a museum in such a way that you want to learn, so must read all the info provided at each exhibit. It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend it.

This museum is huge and has an amazing collection of cars, trucks, trains, planes, the snowbirds museum. It’s incredible that Moose Jaw has something like this. I spent 2 hours here and could have spent another 2 hours quite easily.

Great place, loved it. One of the best museums I have ever visited and I have been to a lot. Staff friendly and helpful. Very many interactive displays, realistic, era driven. Beautiful machinery.

It's very easy for 3+ hours to fly by while walking through the MJ WDM. I love the Saskatchewan WDMs, so I knew I would enjoy this one as well, but everyone I have taken to it has also enjoyed it and has kept us there for hours wondering. Cute little gift shop and outdoor train rides cap off a well spent afternoon in MJ.

A good stop where the kids can learn and stretch their legs. It is a must if you've got kids interested in vehicles including planes, trains and automobiles. Reasonable price and friendly staff.

If you’re passing through Moose Jaw, it’s a must visit! The museum was a great learning experience for kids and adults. There were impressive displays of planes trains and automobiles! It tells the story of life in Saskatchewan and it’s rich history throughout the years —

Enjoyed the trains and the history of CP rail.
The classic cars were very interesting.
Good place to send your husbands and son's for a couple of hours while shopping.
Sorry there is no place to have a cup of coffee or a sit down.

Great stop. Very well set up, not too busy, very affordable. Would have gladly stayed longer if not for the kids.
