- 907erinn0 contributionsGreat day in EphesusReally had a wonderful time touring Ephesus with our guide Gonca. The site was amazing and you could really feel the history that took place there. Gonca was warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. As part of the tour we were also able to visit the newly opened Ephesus Experience Museum which was a highlight. The digital presentation we saw inside was very immersive and well done. Highly recommended. Afterwards Gonca took us to a local restaurant where we had a fantastic meal and got to know her better and learn more about the country. All in all it was a great day and well worth it. OZGE is an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide who made our tour so much fun! Her insights and enthusiasm brought the history and culture to life. It was very hot and he made sure we had shade breaks and water available to us. He shared biblical knowledge as we walked through Ephesus and shared his expertise. Beyond just the main sites she was able to guide us to some truly unique experiences. We saw how Turkish rugs were made, experienced unique pottery and were given a great feel for the Turkish culture. The traditional Turkish lunch was outstanding. Can’t say enough good things about Selda. She made me want to come back to Turkey, maybe not when it’s 100+ degrees outside though.Written July 20, 2024

Ersan is the best tour guide I’ve ever had. Extremely informative and felt like we’ve been friends for years. He was very patient, kind, and generous. He is VERY fluent in English and has great jokes hahaha. Could not recommend more!

Fusun was excellent and extremely knowledgeable guide. Worth the money , loved it highly recommend it. Might be a little difficult for elderly as a lot of walking in sun. Bring water and umbrella not much shade. Fabulous lunch, make the stop!

Yavuz was our tour guide for today, July 2, 2024. He did an excellent job in explaining every tourist spots we choice. He was very polite and very knowledgeable with the country and/or city of Turkey. He was respectful of our time and very thorough with what to expect in the sceneries that we saw and experienced.
