About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- amelb5780 contributionsFantastic and memorable tourFantastic and memorable tour of Brasov, Bran and Peles Castle! Our tour guide Serban was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We learned from him so many aspects of Romania's cultural and historical heritage. Our kids enjoyed the tour too. We definitely recommend this tour. Michael, Amel and kidsWritten May 30, 2024
- B6987KBtimh0 contributionsGreat day tripSerban is a great tour guide and has a lot of knowledge plus he is funny. Highly recommend to book. The trip is very well organized.Written May 12, 2024
- JJ79_130 contributionsReassuring solo tripExcellent trip, reassuring to have a great guide (SERBEN RIGS) & extremely safe driver (NICU) and company when travelling alone. No toilets onboard but plenty of opportunities at sites (be prepared to queue!) and purposeful stop. Was prepared for the loud commentary and few choice words from guide (from reading other reviews). He will emphasise/drum in the expectations to be on time etc but I thought this was great - not penalising those that attend on time and you can't say you weren't told 🫣 It would've been helpful to have the earlier ETA for meeting point sent from the company sooner than the day before but this might've been just me as I booked last min? Just 1 lady out of entire the coach missed the trip as they hadn't seen the message. Guide overall made this trip, knowledgeable and friendly, with plenty to talk about (may not suit everyone as he does just talk too, but this didn't bother me too much) and yes - loud but again, appreciated when I wasn't at the front of the tour queue. Overall, best under £20 (plus entry fees/food) spent for full day tour. Felt super safe & reassuring as he text to check in during free time and confirming again meet up point and time and would contact if you were late.Written April 20, 2024
- SurendraS3660 contributionsAn OK visitWas a bit disappointing mainly because the greenery we see in the pictures of the castle was not there. Being the end of winter, the green was replaced bvy the browns of dry trees and branches. Although we knew that the castle is being in line with Bram Stokers novel, the experience was a bit of a let down. But it was definitely worth a tick in the box.Written March 21, 2024
- K8791YEdalef0 contributionsPerspective CountsI'm coming over here from a long way away. I take what I have never seen, and count that as a win. Peles Castle was closed on the day I chose to take the tour but it did not detract from my experience. I at least got to see it. Given the cost of the tour...really?...I could not have expected better or more. I got to see amazing things...Old Brasov was beautiful, and Bran was just as wonderful. I've seen more of Romania in this one tour than I ever thought I'd see in my life. How awesome is that?Written January 17, 2024
- Annas Z0 contributionsYou get to see alot in minimum time frameHighly recommended, Otilia was a wonderful guide. You need to take some edible along as it is a full day trip. Must take along umbrellas/ rain coats considering the weather forecastWritten September 30, 2023
- XavierG13470 contributionsConcentrate on Peles Castle, leave Bran castleFirst of all, be aware that this is a real 12h tour at least ! For my tour, due to the traffic jam, we went back to Bucarest at 9 pm so almost 14h tour !! People shall be aware of it before complaining. This is neither the fault of the driver or the tour guide. Regarding our tour guide tour Serban, he's never at loss of words. It is not a good or a bad thing but introvert people may not like it. Moreover, he has a real sense of reality ! People can say it is stereotype but, as a romanian guy, if is saying so, it's true. Furthermore he is caring really about the customers, trying to offer them the best treatment possible when speaking about bathroom. Most of the bathroom at the petrol stations on the road are disgusting and unhygienic and so he's caring much of stopping only at the most hygienice ones. Even though that means a stop every 2h. I agree that communication must be definitely improve. Proposing multiples pick up point through the city is definitely not the best way to manage. Only 1 pick up point shall be adressed for everybody. Finally regarding the tour, Peles castle is definitely the must go. Bran castle compare to Peles is literrally nothing. Do not expect too much of Bran castle. Maybe the stop at Braşov can be avoided, cause it is adding more drive on the way back, but globally the tour is good. I recommend it !!Written September 1, 2023
- alexandrafL8429SK0 contributionsAugust 15th 2023. Amazing Brasov tripI absolutely enjoyed this trip and would recommend anyone thinking about doing it, to do it. Departe was 7 30 am from Bucharest and drop off back was around 10 PM, so consider this time slot as it's around 14 hour round trip. The guide Serban Riga and our driver Narcis were beyond professional, hats off to them, they went above and beyond to have us as the 1st group to enter at every attraction, their trip and timing were perfect I'm sure down to many years of experience. Serban s knowledge, good attitude and constant attention to detail were second to none. I recommend this trip and especially this tour guide. 10/10Written August 15, 2023

- nialorak0 contributionsSherban Riga THE BESTSherban Riga was the best ever tour guide! Its clear he loves his job and gave the whole group such a great mood - kept it throughout the whole tour! Would definitely reccomend! He also knew so much about the Peles castle and Romania - I loved it!Written June 14, 2023
- 440jollyj0 contributionsDay tour- good valveOverall good experience - good value tour- got to see the castles and Braşov - very pretty town.long day but worth it- might be a bit difficult for older people who find it difficult to walk. Otherwise suitable for allWritten June 9, 2023
- TheEuroTourist0 contributionsStunning fro start to finishBest money spent in Romania, Serban (Tour Guide) was full of energy and its extremely well versed on all aspects of the trip. Ask him anything & he will know the answer. First stop was Peles castle and it’s a gem of a place, a beautiful building created by a King well ahead of his time. Then off to Bram Castle which is why the majority would be there, just to say I’ve been is good enough for me. As Serban will tell you, be prepared for plenty stairs, but the views are worth it. Then a quick journey to Brasov and back to Bucharest for 8 o’clock at night. What seems like could be a long day is over before you know it. The views from the bus through the Carpathian Mountains are stunning. And a quick shout goes to the unsung hero of the day the driver Marian who could fit that bus into the smallest of spaces with ease. If you’ve not booked yet, what are you waiting for?Written May 17, 2023
- anastasiaaE9651LB0 contributionsBest tour ever!It was the best decision to book this tour! Very organized, super fun guide (Rigas), so many places to see!! Definitely recommended!!Written January 28, 2023
- Daniela D0 contributionsDo not book!!!Bad organization. First on the tour it say’s €30 euro for kids between 8-12 years. Nothing about younger kids.(no option to book for) When we called and told we have a child of 3 years they say it’s €30 also🤨(in cash). And they were surprised we had one more person(the child of 3years we could not book a ticket for) no wonder you are surprised, there is no option for a younger child and no price mentioned! The next day we went to the pickup place and were waiting. We got a call from the tourguide 5 minutes before pickup that the car won’t start and the tour is cancelled. So we were left sitting there with tickets booked for the castles and a crying child (because the day is cancelled). The guide said I apologize but I’m just the guide and the operator will call later. He never called us back. Thank you very much for ruining our day.Written August 12, 2022
- maryeP4307ZR0 contributionsRiveting RomaniaWe had a brilliant day on this trip. Everything was taken care of, easy, and our tour guide really went the extra mile by helping us with payments when there. He was extremely knowledgeable about the fascinating history of Romania. Peles Castle was a particular highlight - so much history inside and the views outside are stunning.Written August 6, 2022
