Our tour guide Ivo was very nice and funny, absolutely beautiful trip with a lit of information and learning. Stunning views and vines... absolutely worth it!

The tour itself was very informative. The train station was beautiful. The cathedral site was lovely. The port tasting was delish. What made this tour a five star tour was Bernardo’s engaging personality/knowledge and Sheila’s rock star driving. The combination of the two was perfect.

Very nice your with a great guide Maria Marabuto & Marion, she even sang a bit of Fado for us in the bus on the way back. Kudos to the driver as well for navigating the tricky roads.

A good choice if you have an extra day at Porto. The Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte was the highlight of the trip. The castle of Guimaraes or the Church weren't too impressive. Most of the guides use 2 languages as such I didn't get much of the history of information of the sites visited. Chat GPT was my guide. No need to pay extra for the lunch. Getting lunch was easy and almost everyone speaks English.

I don't tend to book bus tours when I visit a new town or city, I'm more of an independent traveler, wishing to figure out my own itinerary as I go along. Given I was visiting Porto with my wife for a long weekend I decided to try the Douro Valley tour as it was so highly rated and seemed to offer quite a varied itinerary. Basically it's a combination of comfortable (air-conditioned) bus visit to a lovely historic town, lunch at a picturesque location, wine tasting at a local winery, river cruise and bus trip back via breathtaking scenery of the wine producing Douro region. It's a great package and very keenly priced as compared to other tours in the region. Our guide Juliana was informative and entertaining and our driver navigated the steep and winding roads in a controlled manner, particularly helpful with a belly full of food and local wine. I'd highly recommend this tour and rate it a five out of five

Fabulous tour to two beautiful locations. Marcia and Diego were very friendly and helpful with a lot of local knowledge. This excursion is a must if you are in Porto

The trip was amazing, delicious wine and food. The guide was really helpful. The only thing that makes my ratings go down is to see all the other people in the trip except us paying 20% more with no explanation at all.

The experience was awesome but I do not agree in the difference in charges, we as a couple payed 320 euros (individually 160 euros) vs. other people in the group as individuals payed 130 euros or less, there should not be a change in fees.

The tour was as described with the exception of the boat tour - photos showed 6-10 on the boat, not 40. No worries, as the views from the boat were great. While our guide’s (Vasco) English was good, he often spoke quickly, which sometimes made it hard to understand. I shouldn’t complain, as our Portuguese is non-existent. The first wine stop (Piano) was great and the meal was fantastic - our only recommendation would be ceiling fans under the large white tents; the pretty light fixtures are nice, but more moving air would be better. The second stop was nice too, but the air conditioner was struggling to keep up with the 104 degrees. Overall an A, many thanks!

Had an experience that I won't forget. Our guide Xavier was brilliant and attentive! He carefully has planned out the trip to ensure we all had a great time. Slowly built up the day after an early start to having us all singing kareoke in the afternoon! The music choice was iconic. Josí was a fantastic driver and always felt safe in his capable hands. He even made a little detour for a lovely picture I would highly recommend this experience, the valley is incredibly beautiful and the people we met made the tour so much more special (the drinks definitely helped :))

Our host Xavier (only working his second week as a host) was excellent. He kept a long 9 hour day bouncing along. Good frequent stops, helpful advice, coach sing-a-long kept everyone smiling. Top bloke! Good driver in Jose

This was a perfect tour for us as it was 1/2 day and covered two areas we had hoped to see during our short stay in Porto. Our tour guide, Jose Luis Márcio was excellent and his translation from the Portuguese to English was on point.

Great tour of the Douro Valley! We visited two vineyards for wine tasting and had a lovely lunch. Pedro and Ramos were exceptional hosts!

It was such an amazing trip! We have three year old toddler and we were a little worried initially going with a group and something that was timed but this trip was amazing- super, sweet & short! We were able to hit all the main areas! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour! They even had a car seat ready for my toddler in the bus (so thoughtful)! We had Diego as our guide and Manuela as our driver. What a great dynamic duo! LOVED them!
