We had a great tour with Iceberg quest. The boat ride was beautiful and we got to see 3 whales plus puffins. The boat staff on the tour was also great, very friendly and going out of their way to ensure kids had a good time and got the opportunity to see the whales. The only reason for the 4 stars vs 5 stars is their loading process - they should assign you a number based on when you check in and pickup your tickets instead of making you come back and wait in a long line that then isn't loaded in that same line order.

A group of us girls did the whale watching experience for a Bachelorette party. This was the part of our trip to Newfoundland I was most excited for and it definitely lived up to the hype! The crew was incredible: Glen, Tyler and Captain Mike - thank you for treating our group like royalty, for being patient and kind to the few who were scared/got a bit seasick, and for your hospitality. It was a foggy and cold day but we saw two humpbacks (one came so close!), two bald eagles and memories to last a lifetime!

The crew was very friendly and informative. We were in close proximity to 3 whales for about 30 minutes. Great view of the coastline and Cape Spear. Great tour overall!

The crew went over and above to accommodate our large group (17 person bachelorette party!), and make this a memorable tour. The history and information about the local area was super helpful and fun to learn. We were lucky to get lots of time with a humpback whale, and saw many puffins, and an eagle. The boat ride was a blast, and the scenery was beautiful. Captain Mike you still owe me a beer! I saw the whale go poof!

The crew was very hospitable and friendly. Very knowledgeable as well. Had a very foggy day but we were able to see a beautiful whale for a lengthy amount of time. Highly recommend!

We had a fun and amazing day on the water. The crew was knowledgeable and engaging. We also kissed the cod and are now honorary Newfoundlanders!

A couple of years ago, we went whale watching and saw a few whales. We tried again today with a special guest from another country, but unfortunately, we didn't see any whales—just a boat ride around the ocean. It was really disappointing. We spent $400 for 2 hours on a boat in the salty water with no sightings.

My 2 adult sons & I did this tour and we were blessed with a beautiful sunny day. The views of Cape Spear were wonderful and we did see some whales and puffins. I wish we had seen more puffins up close but that is not controllable. We were able to get screeched in on the tour at $15pp. The crew were absolutely amazing and friendly. The tour was pricey and full....I did not think the amount of people waiting could get onto the boat but apparently the capacity is 99. it did get crowded when trying to see the whales but that is expected.

It was a great boat trip! Staff were very friendly, it was a smooth boat trip and saw lots of whales! Great puctures and videos. Saw Cape Spear, Signal Hill from ocean side and saw puffins and an eagle. Great memories!

Amazing experience to be hold in St John's, the team was so accommodating and informative. We saw 10 whales on a 2hr trip and also puffins, dolfins and lots of birds! It's a must if you visit St John's!

Best whale watching experience we’ve ever had. We’ve been to BC and saw orcas and humpbacks but never did we think we’d almost be able to reach out and touch a humpback whale. The whale had put on a show as if we were at marineland. Highly recommend this tour company. Great, funny and experienced staff.

My wife and I booked a 2-hour sightseeing trip. The staff were both friendly and funny (as you'd expect from Newfoundlanders). We lucked out and had a day, so that added to the experience. After a short tour out of the harbour area we had our whale experience, two humpbacks that cruised along for a bit before they decided to put on a spectacular show. From multiple tail slaps and a few breaches (came right out of the water) it exceeded my expectations. Now not every tour will be lucky enough to see a whale, but the crew did their best between sightings to talk about the other wildlife (puffins, sea birds, eagles in their nest) that we came across. I highly recommend taking the tour!

I arrived in Newfoundland on a Friday with 3 boat trips booked in the hopes of seeing whales.The Iceberg Quest trip was on the Saturday and thanks to the crew,I saw two humpback whales going through a complete set of aerobatics.I can’t believe the other two trips will match this one,but I will go home very happy.

Great tour, found the tour operators and staff, did a great job, took the extra time to find the whales, great entertainment!
