The WORSE service we ever had in all our travel experience!!! We have booked 2 excursions, one is in Belfast and another one is in Dublin. So, the tour in Belfast has been canceled day before , fortunately I was able to find another private guide just one day before we arrived, BUT for next tour (in Dublin) a guide never showed up!!! We were waiting him at meeting point for about 2 hours. No contact, no information what is going on. Finally, they just canceled the tour. It ruined our only one day in Dublin, we were not prepared for this, we came over there in a cruise ship. As a result, they refund our money in a week or so, no apology, nothing being ruined our trip twice!

I'm so thrilled I stumbled onto Lokafy! Talk about a best kept secret. I've now done 5 tours and will book another 5 soon as I travel Europe. These are not usual "tour guides" these are folks who love their town and want to share life there from their point of view. The company asks your interests, what your passions are, what you want to do, then selects just the right guide! It's like having a trip matchmaker. By the end of your tour you almost always feel you were shown around by a close friend. I've seen and done things I'd never have discovered on my own, or with a traditional tour! These experiences are private just for you or your group, not with strangers. Considering the customization and matching process they are remarkably inexpensive. Choose 2, 3, 4, hours to fit your schedule. If you want to see the cookie cutter tourist traps this is not for you. If you want to dig deeper go for it!

Honestly, we took our work group to Colorado to do some backpacking in the Rocky Mountains. We stayed in Denver the last two days and threw this tour in to fill some space in our second day. It turned out to be the best city tour we had ever done including all of the travels my wife and I do abroad. Will Olson has an encyclopedic knowledge and understanding of the Denver urban core. We did the LoDo and RiNo tours and his knowledge of the buildings, neighborhoods, history, restaurants, chefs, artists and murals is amazing. What's more, he delivers the tour in a very entertaining way: Humorous, articulate and captivating. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, but I would recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip even more than the end as you will be able to use the information to plan your entire culinary and beverage experience during your stay.

David was great! He went well out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and gave us an amazing tour. He is personable, friendly, relatable, and even checked on us to make sure we knew about other happenings in the area. Highly recommended!

Luis Fernando Salamanca, the tour guide, was excellent and super kind. He showed us all the iconic areas of Toronto and got us a clear historical reference of the place. We really liked how professionally he treated us.

We loved it. We saw so many different areas of Toronto that we would have never seen and he showed us how to use the local transport. There is so much to see and do in Toronto that you can only scratch the surface in one day but this tour is a great idea for the start of your stay . We enjoyed seeing Toronto through the eyes of a local resident. It was also fun to share travel and life experiences with our guide, Katherine East. Our guide also had suggestions for activities that we could pursue on our own over the next couple of days in Toronto. We would heartily recommend this tour, Toronto Like a Local.

Unfortunately, the first tour we booked was cancelled at the last minute. That was certainly frustrating and disappointing. Fortunately, the company refunded our money and gave us another tour for free. The guide (Santiago) could not have been sweeter and gave us a tour of areas tailored to our interests. He ended up making up for our original dissatisfaction.

Chris was FANTASTIC! We booked three hours, but we really should have booked four. Chris gave us such a great overview of the city, helped us get our bearings, and had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat during the rest of our stay in Toronto. I would definitely recommend this tour for the morning after you arrive. It's such a great introduction to Toronto. The company reached out in advance to help us customize our experience based on what we like, and Chris also customized on the fly based on things we talked about during our tour. I'm thrilled with how well this worked out. Highly recommend.

Chris introduced us to Toronto in a very personal way! by directing the 3 hours to our interests! I also liked how he gave us suggestions for others activities, places and restaurants to try on our other days in Toronto!

I canceled a booking one day after I made it, but they delayed refunding me for three weeks to the point that currency fluctuations lost me $8. I had to remind them to refund me. They should not keep people's money for three weeks. Refunds should be processed in duly time. At least they were polite in their emails and offered me a discount for a next booking.

Highly recommended. Chris was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city. We had a 3+ hour tour to see the most iconic areas, and get an insiders perspective of the city. It was exactly what we had in mind. He gave us excellent recommendations for food, drinks and souvenirs too.

Guide didn’t show up. Been promised a refund for over a month now having to make a claim through my credit card. Appalling customer service. My suggestion is to avoid.

We loved our long walk around Toronto with Sidonia! Seeing a city at ground level — its shops, its neighborhoods, its people — is such a great way to get to know it. Sidonia was a delightful and friendly walking partner who took us through interesting parts of the city and gave us a real feel for what it's like. We gave her guidelines and let her pick the route and that worked out great. The highlight of our trip!
