      Fantastic time!
We had a great time on our 2 hour canoe from Sir Wilfried Laurier to Capilano park on a Sunday afternoon. The weather was stunning, and the organization was top notch. Would do it again for sure!

Edmonton canoe / kayak Laurier to Capilano Park
We just went on Sunday 1-5pm. this was awesome. There was 29 of us that went and it was an amazing day. All friends and some families. We met at Capilano Park and they bused ya to Laurier park and put all our boats in the water for us. This is my 4th time doing this ride. I’ve done Devon to Emily Murphy with them too. Defo recommend it. We got a gorgeous day. It’s lovely to see Edmonton from a different view. The river ride is gorgeous. ☺️☺️😎😎

      Perfect Longweekend
I had to re-book and the staff was wonderful to help in making this arrangement (space was available). With the new date (Heritage Day long weekend), weather was perfect, the river level was low and flow was extremely slow. Best time to float down and relax. The guy at the end was patient enough as we were the last to arrive and was cool about it. Next time I'd like to try the Devon trip. Highly recommend this as you don't have to coordinate gear and ride.

Really enjoyable night on the river!
My husband and I did the solo kayak evening trip from Laurier Park to Capilano Park. We were so happy with the experience! It was really cool to see the city from a different perspective, and the trip itself is the perfect length for a weeknight. It's not a hard paddle either, as you're travelling with the flow of the river, but you get a bit of exercise. It's great to be able to finish the trip and walk right to the parking lot where your car is. Overall really great trip, I want to do it again..!! Best date!

For my husband's birthday we decided to do something different and take a paddle down the north Saskatchewan River: what a great company choice! The staff are friendly, clear in their instructions, and very laid-back. I don't agree with their assessment of the depth of the river being such that you could basically dump out of your canoe anywhere and still be able to safely stand up in the water, but the water was calm on the day we went, the sun hot, and the trip enjoyable. Next time, I think we would probably like to try a two-man kayak in order to compare it to the canoe experience. Recommendation to the canoe company; petition the City to put port-a-potties at both the trip beginning & end sites for the use of your clients.

All good except I had advised ahead of time that my 7 year old grandson would be the 2nd person and I would need a small paddle. 'Don't worry, there'll be one there for you.' There wasn't. The guy at the launch: 'paddles are in the boats.' Somewhat jerkish.

Bring your own boat shuttle was great
The shuttle was great and saved us a lot of juggling vehicles to get in and out of the water. The location for getting out of the water was very easy to find with the large markers on the shore so we knew were at the right place. We brought our own canoe and they helped us just as they did with everyone else. The only minor issue we experienced was the confirmation email had the wrong time and did not include the meeting location. When I called to find out the meeting location was when we determined the meeting time was wrong. It is only a small system issue that can be fixed easily, but it could have made for a very frustrating day if we had not called.

      Solo Kayak on Sask river
This kayak trip appealed to me because I could do this with my 2 teen children but they would still have space from me.... because really.... teens don't like to do adventures with moms all the time!!! this was something different from the boring "electronic age" and got them in touch with nature. I was glad they came with me and I know they enjoyed it! I would like to go again but with all three of my kids - however, I wish there was a family cost as the price per person will make it impossible for all four of us to go if we each have to pay $80. No longer an affordable family adventure.

      Great shuttle
What can I say, it was a shuttle from the take-out to the put-in. They loaded our kayaks on their trailer and when we arrived at the put-in our boats were unloaded and ready to go. Not having the hassle of using our own vehicles for the shuttle was worth every penny. The only thing I can say is that they don't accept American Express even though it's mentioned on their online booking payment page. I kept getting an error so I sent them an email and they called me back in a few hours and we got everything sorted out. We will definitely be using them again for a shuttle service on the river.

      Idyllic paddle down the river.
This is a super great, peaceful adventure that feels like getting a secret view of Edmonton. We did the trip from Laurier to Capilano and loved it. Take snacks and stop to appreciate the calm of the river valley. Avoid the clay mud spot at Accidental Beach if you can.

What a great day again on the North Saskatchewan. Finally a beautiful day and the trip was perfect. It is so odd that more people done take advantage of all the river has to offer. Thanks to Edmonton Canoe Stefan and Bianca for enabling this trip by shuttling me and my kayak up to Devon. It is such a time and effort saver. I have been on trips with them so many times and have NEVER been disappointed.. Their patience, flexibility and professionalism is amazing. They are so helpful and knowledgeable, it is greatly appreciated. I will be back.. for sure!!!!

We spent the day floating from Devon to Sir Wilfred Laurier boat launch. The weather was perfect, stopped for a picnic lunch along the way, watched a couple of juvenile coyotes make their way along the bank and enjoyed watching all the people onshore enjoying this wonderful resource we have. Definitely will do this again.
    Thanks Bianca and Steve!

I attended the solo day kayaking trip from Devon back to Edmonton and it was incredible! Edmonton Canoe staff were so welcoming and kind and the whole experience was so rejuvenating. They made the opportunity to kayak so convenient for individuals who do not own kayaks or have to go through the work of setting this up alone. Starting in Devon and heading back towards Edmonton you really get to experience the peacefulness and beauty of our river valley. It was one of the best days of my summer! I highly recommend this adventure to anyone and will absolutely be doing it again myself.

We did a short Sunday afternoon trip last year from Emily Murphy to Capilano and had so much fun, we didn't hesitate to book another trip for this summer. This year, due to the construction on the Groat Road bridge, the trip started a little further away at Laurier Park, but the price didn't change (a sweet bonus). Since I have a young teen and a ten year old, we rented the additional seat so we could travel together.

Edmonton Canoe walked us through instructions and the use of our dry bags, etc before we boarded the bus ride to Laurier. At the boat drop, the canoes were already lined up and ready for us. We just needed to hop in and paddle away.

It was easy paddling down the North Saskatchewan and we truly enjoyed our time in the canoes.

We were the last to arrive, but the crew didn't seem to mind as they seem genuinely thrilled we had a great time.

We're going to make this an annual event now, and Edmonton Canoe is who I'll use.

Took our Texas family on an evening canoe trip from Laurier Park to Capilano. Great fun inspite of the smoke from Forest Fires. Interesting to see Edmonton from a different perspective.

Now THIS is the way to see Edmonton!
For a hundred bucks an adult, you get shuttled to the vicinity of the Valley Zoo, to embark upon a floater's dream ride.
2-3 hours of canoeing or kayaking the N Saskatchewan River is a delightful way to view our wonderful river valley.
You will be well supplied and taken care of.
And bring the kids! It's ALL good!
    I HIGHLY reccomend this trip/eventure 😉

We had a great day paddling the river from Devon to Laurier Park. Edmonton Canoe gave good instructions, provided the canoe, paddles, and life jackets we needed for the trip, and they were there waiting when we arrived at Laurier. We want to go again!

It was a memorable day, the river was mesmerizing, although it was raining. Since it was my very first long-distance trip, it would have been a lot easier for me if some instructions were given about the what the person working as engine should do and the rudder, as we had a hard time figuring out how to steer. However, these setbacks were part of the learning experience and in the end, we had a wonderful trip.

I enjoyed a lot my canoe trip. I went with my wife. A short trip on a School bus until Devon, and then, just enjoy the river and the beauties of the Saskatchewan River. Very relaxing. You can do it in your own rhythm, stop for rest and eat. I definitely recommend.

This isn't the first time we have done this trip. We enjoy it every time, for different reasons. Bus to Devon (which was quite delayed because of late arrivals). Canoe was ready and staff very helpful in helping getting the canoe ready and into the water. Given wrong instructions about who was the powerhouse and who was the rudder.............but no matter. Would recommend.
