Maya Kachroo-Levine

Maya Kachroo-Levine is a digital senior editor at Travel + Leisure. She leads hotel reviews and coverage from the hotel desk and works on T+L's It List and Where to Go tentpoles every year. She also writes and edits articles on undiscovered destinations (mainly in Europe, Asia, California, and Mexico), food and drink, and cruises. She's previously been an editor at Departures, Expedia, GOOD Magazine, Medium, and The Balance, among others, and has written for publications including LA Weekly, TIME, Forbes, The Atlantic, and Refinery29. She's lived in Montreal; Boston; Geneva; Ithaca, New York; Paris; and Los Angeles, where she's currently based. Maya has been traveling since she was young, taking the TGV through France and riding on the back of a motorized scooter in New Delhi as a toddler. More recently, she's co-piloted a private jet, been among the first at Aman New York, sailed on The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's first ship, roasted agave to make mezcal in Oaxaca, Mexico, ventured to Sweden's Arctic Circle in the middle of winter, and run marathons in two of the 10 Canadian provinces.
