‘Bluey Minisodes’ are here! Plus, what to know about Season 4

“I’m sure we have many more surprises in store for you.”

Cheer up, mate! The "Bluey" drought is over!

Brand-new “Bluey Minisodes” have started rolling out on Disney Jr. and Disney+. The collection includes 20 one- to four-minute shorts that lean into Bluey and Bingo's playful interactions and games.

So far, seven episodes are available to watch, each an easy, delightful romp that reminds viewers of everything they love about the Heeler family.

In "Burger Dog," Bluey and Bingo ask their dad to play a pop song on his phone that annoys him so much that he pretends the phone runs out of battery. "Bingo 3000" introduces a hilariously malfunctioning little sister. Nana reads a story Bandit wrote as a child in "Letter," complete with adorable misspellings. Muffin shows off a new toy in "Muffin Unboxing," and Chilli plays a game with Bingo in "Animals."

The most memorable episode in the bunch might be "Three Pigs." The entire episode is simply Bandit laying on the couch with the kids telling them a laugh-out-loud version of the traditional tale.

Sure, these minisodes will give viewers of the beloved show something to enjoy for the moment, but here's what everyone really wants to know: When will we get Season 4?

Will there be a Season 4 of "Bluey"?

The “Surprise” episode ended on a cliffhanger, calling into question if the glimpse at Bluey’s future is a sneak peek, the setting for future stories or simply an ending.

A show spokesperson “double confirmed” to the Australian Broadcasting Company that they have “no plans to end the show.”

Phew!

However, we might have as hard a time waiting for new episodes ... just as Bluey and Bingo had a hard time waiting for takeaway.

“It’s been four or five years and we’ve made 154 episodes, it is kind of unprecedented to do that back-to-back,” said "Bluey" executive producer Daley Pearson to Australia’s Courier Mail.

In retrospect, we can see that the "Bluey" team has dropped a few hints about the last two episodes that only now begin to make sense.

Before "The Sign" aired, “Bluey” producer Sam Moor told BBC Radio, “No, it is not the end for ‘Bluey.’ I’m sure we have many more surprises in store for you.”

Get it? "Surprise"?

And creator Joe Brumm told Deadline, “We get a lot of requests to age the characters up." Though he noted that it would "completely change the show," there would be "something really sweet" about seeing Bluey and Bingo at "babysitting age" with "new younger characters."

And then we see Bluey some years later in the closing scene of the season finale with a younger character right behind her.

Who might that character be? A neighbor? A friend's sibling? Aunty Brandy's baby? Bluey's own child?

It seems that we'll have to wait and see ...

“Bluey” fans on TODAY

The Bluey love has extended to the families of the TODAY co-hosts.

While introducing the new “Bluey”-inspired commercial collaboration between Ryan Reynolds and Zillow about the benefits of moving, Carson Daly gave a shoutout to his “Bluey”-loving 2-year-old daughter.

“Goldie, I hope you’re watching. Pop Start’s for you from Daddy today,” he said to his youngest of his TODAY pop culture series.

Carson said “audiences blew up the internet” after watching some of the last moments of “The Sign” because they were “destroyed” by the thought of the Heeler family moving out of their beloved house.

But a new “Bluey”-inspired commercial collaboration between Ryan Reynolds and Zillow (and featuring blue heeler dogs — for real life!) shows that finding a new house doesn’t have to be dramatic. Uncle Stripe ... err, Dan Brumm ... narrates this “moving” commercial.

Co-host Craig Melvin pointed out the giant images of Bluey and her family are in the windows of the FAO Schwarz just across the street from Studio 1A.

“That’s why I didn’t bring my kids to work yesterday,” Carson joked.
