Lara Spirit joined The Times as a Red Box reporter in 2022. She is now Red Box editor. Based in Westminster, she writes The Times's morning politics newsletter. She was nominated for 2023 Young Journalist of the Year in the Society of Editors' press awards and for New Journalist of the Year by Press Gazette.
